What a fantastic winner, one of the greatest #1s of all time! And love the fact it was in the very first round.

 

I just realised how different it could have been had I voted for Stereo love in the earlier round, that was the narrowest of margins as both songs are 11/10s.

 

Also, I'd very much welcome the idea of a retro competition.

A surprising winner considering what stereotypically does well on Buzzjack but it's a giant of its genre! The whole top five is quite surprising actually! Even the likes of Robyn and Nelly which I thought may have struggled against the female popstars with big fanbases! Also had no idea Pompeii was so loved here, beat some really big songs on the way to the final!

I thought it was quite a likely winner following the 2006 game as it seems to be a song that's very much a favourite of those who love it. For me it's considerably the weakest song in the top 5, the first part is excellent but then it's just standard MCR fare which I find very meh. I definitely preferred Teenagers at the time and would still listen to that one of theirs now.
