The dark horse is really Rod Stewart. On Wikipedia it looks like his last album opened with 41k. It looks like he has 2 vinyls variants and a cd of this one so who knows what he’ll sell.

I think it’s surely got to be Ed. His streaming will be huge. Although I do think ABBA will sell bucket loads the week before.
Ed’s last album (divide) did 41k from streaming on week 3 and 206k overall. I guess this one will do less, but it’s difficult to call between him and Abba.

I don't see Abba holding up well enough to beat Ed's 3rd week, his streams will be huge.

Rod Stewart for highest debut probably.

Also that week Damon Albarn is following up a debut solo Album which got to #2. Given the busy Release week think Damon might be lucky to get Top 10.

ABBA will have the week before on their release week, but Ed will reclaim the week after.

I think Little Mix will get the highest of those debuts, but I don't think "Greatest Hits" are quite what they used to be with streaming, so I don't think it will be in with a sniff of No.1

How do you all know Adele won't release 30 that week?

ABBA for #1

Rod for highest debut (#3)

Little Mix #4

Taylor #5

Kylie #6

Taylor's lack of formats will probably go against her though, so I can see her and Kylie switching. I'd like to think LM are locked for #4 but now that I've said this they're probably gonna end up behind both Taylor and Kylie

Taylor's album was originally scheduled to drop on the 19th but she mysteriously moved it forward to the 12th which is basically confirming Adele is releasing on the 19th. Technically not been explicitly confirmed but it's hard to see any other explanation.

Ed has really brainwashed people, he's said s many times the 6 Project Album wasn't an album that everybody believes it now :D

I'm not saying it'll necessarily be enough but I think ABBA will do better than expected on streaming.
I would say Ed based on big streaming “sales”. ABBA’s comeback singles really didn’t do well especially in the Streaming market.
This is the most exciting q4 in a long time for me, plenty of big name albums to pull in sales and il be buying a few of these releases myself.

I’ve never known a Q4 like this the music industry has pulled out all the stops.

Think Abba will get a second week and Rod will be the highest new entry!

Not sure Kylie and Taylor will do that well as they are re releases!

I think ABBA will sell strongly enough in week 2 to outdo Ed's third week.

1 ABBA

2 Ed

3 Stewart

4 LM

5 Taylor

6 Kylie (probably won't be top 10)

I went with ABBA second week though I wouldn’t be surprised if Ed’s streaming edges it. ABBA have shown that they can still get respectable streams though so won’t be like a lot of other front loaded albums where there is no streaming presence.

Taylor has done well with her first weeks and Red was the first big album campaign for Taylor here so has that behind it.
