My Taylor CD was only dispatched late last night so would have been part of the sales added today.

lol All Too Well TV has had 2 versions all week, with a new one added today

thats not a multitude of versions, you better never check the number of versions released by BTS ;D

If this was Ed Sheeran your reply would be sooooo different.

But plausible in the fact the triple cassette pack was reduced to £10 with a signed art card which lead to me (and others) buying it.

Oh my hun

He is a dish if I have ever had one.

I don't actually think 'All Too Well' is going to fall off that hard after the first week tbh, it's holding up extremely well on streaming so far. Obviously it'll be peaking in its first week but I think it could have a decent run.
Because people are clearly fed up with these dirty tactics. They are not real number ones, they're fake.

Watch what real sales are when Adele releases her album tomorrow.

Well clearly enough people arnt because an artist wouldnt do it if they were getting zero sales from it

if it was being pushed on hhuk it probably would have been #1 this week

Easy on me seems to be pulling away nicely, thougt Taylor would have caught up.

At the risk of starting another debate, given Taylor is locked in for the no1 album. Not that I’m joining a hate brigade against Taylor but surely albums and singles that are re-released and hit no1 a second time shouldn’t count as another no1. Yes there are extra tracks but deluxe versions of albums don’t count so I don’t see why the occ should be counting this as a new no1 album, technically she’s still on 7. Fearless never reached no1 so that’s a different story.

I thought you were logging out and not coming back?

I'm so glad you know me, I've no idea who you are.

I'll be here one more week to gloat about true sales from Adele, not fake ones. In my eyes, Abba is number one, not Taylor Swift.

I agree, this isn't a new album. So even more of a fake number one album. Why is it not added to the original album.

I know why she re-recorded it and I don't blame her, but it is not a new album.

Similarly live albums, cover albums and greatest hits shouldnt be counted as new ones

Lol you go from bad to worst, not enough with the idiotic comments on signed CDs

now yo move onto the next target: Taylor's rerecordings

at least first go and educate yourself about why she does it and why it's not the same album

I agree hun.

I dont understand why an album that is not even that old is being recorded again. Is it because Tailer thinks the original is rubbish? What can be the other reasons? The album isnt from the 90s or early 00s. Do we think that fans will choose to listen to the oroginal or the remake later down the line?

A condensed and simple explanation:

Taylor doesn’t own the masters of her first six albums. They were owned by her first record label Big Machine.

When leaving Big Machine, she tried negotiating the rights to them but was unsuccessful / the terms offered weren’t very favourable.

Big Machine was then sold to Scooter Braun for a reported $300 million dollars (including the masters to Taylor’s first 6 albums).

Taylor is not keen on Braun because of problems in the past - plus she wants to own the masters of her own albums. So she decided to re-record her first 6 albums, ones she would own the masters of, in the hope that her fans will listen to these new versions. And so far it has been a success.

Weren't you slagging off Ed Sheeran the other week for doing the same tactics 🙄
