November 17, 20214 yr Aww hun. Dont go! You have been a member for 4 years. Probably the amount of time it would take to sign 400k CDs. Stay safe hun. Just Carol Honey  Thanks, but I don't think I've posted anything for 2 years anyway.
November 17, 20214 yr Not throwing out supposed signed CDs midweek because you aren't number one, then to the extent of 30,000. If Ed Sheeran did that, everybody would be complaining. So sold physical product is not a real sale in your eyes? Actual music people buy to support an artist they like and listen to? If that’s your criteria, You must have had rage since at least the the 90s! You must have been annoyed with the charts for years!
November 17, 20214 yr Considering Fearless (TV) has only recently gone silver for 60k sales, Red (TV) doing that in 1 week is amazing. So glad we are getting new hits from the album rather than the just having IKYWT/WANEGBT/22 charting again. Hopefully this version will stick around for the season. I agree, it's doing really well to even bring in new hits. Going at this rate 1989 TV should be even bigger and will have a very impressive first week!
November 17, 20214 yr i wonder if taylor dropped all to well cd’s tomorrow if she could do the double
November 17, 20214 yr I think she'd stand a chance if they just reduced the price of the single from £10.99 on iTunes to 99p!
November 17, 20214 yr Preach it. Pouring a glass of prosexxy to cheers to that. Ah. Cheers to that my sister from another mister. Just Carol Honey
November 17, 20214 yr Really looking forward to seeing if outside the top 5 the other new entries are doing the standard 6-10k this week or if they are closer to Rod! All of the top-10 should cross 10k this week.
November 17, 20214 yr All of the top-10 should cross 10k this week. That makes a change. Good to see!
November 17, 20214 yr Good to see All Too Well holding onto 3rd place. I wonder if she can snatch top two. All Too Well having its moment at last
November 17, 20214 yr Lol this thread is great!! Love how Taylor’s sighed cds are wonderful in comparison to Ed’s a few short weeks ago! I know right :kink: From this very thread: At least it's not 30,000 signed CDs like Ed, that was the most unbelievable ever Roughly 30k signed CDs have been added to Taylor's total. She has a massive lead now. I always thought the signed stuff was the biggest scam ever but these late 30K signed stuff from Taylor or Ed just proves it but as long as the GP buys it naively, good for the labels no one buys music anymore in 2021 so labels have to be creative So at the end of the day, it's a good thing. Glad we've cleared that up :D
November 17, 20214 yr Anyway, brilliant to see Sam Fender soaring up the singles chart. No matter how it came about, there's definitely more of a market for rock/indie songs than is represented in the singles chart at the moment, where it seems it's a select few songs that end up with long chart runs, but little else registering at all.

All signs seem to be that more are managing to break through at last though. Maybe people want something a bit less brash now their back in offices.
November 17, 20214 yr I'm so here for a full on indie/alternative revival in the chart. Oh hun I can imagjne you rocking your head back and forward and your wig flying off and cig ash falling on your skirt and leaving a cig hole in it. And your fishnet tights ripping. Just Carol Honey
November 17, 20214 yr I love to see some variety in the charts. Looking back at some Top 10s from the 80s-00s you can see some of the most left-field dance tracks, indie, hard rock, R&B and pure pop co-existing.

I read that as 1989 television  I was going to say, that would be a cool idea for the re-release of 1989. Edited November 17, 20214 yr by Supercell

November 18, 20214 yr The Top 5 albums should all reach 20k now which is brill, wow at Taylor, those signed cd stories were true, i didnt expect so many but its really lifted her sales which are very impressive. I hope Little Mix can hold onto to number 3 but Ed could still overtake. Really happy to see see Kylie still holding on at 9 and i do think at worst she will end up number 10 which i would still be happy with although i would prefer a single digit peak for the repackage.
