It's my first anniversary so not sure which direction we will be taking!

Gonna send an artist I've had as a potential for like a year but thought they'd be quite polarising but I feel like their time is now, I just need to decide on what song!

I’m leaning to Scandipop for the first time in a while, found a very “Altyr” sounding song

I'm torn between either some Norwegian d'n'b/pop, some psychedelic synth Tame Impala vibes from a new artist I'm currently obsessed with~ OR Japanese sung over a hardcore Prodigy-esque rave breakbeat that sounds like it has been beamed in from 1996.

 

So it's disappointment ALL ROUND for Altyr Muunilinst.

Hyped at many of these descriptions - especially Working Men's Club with them sitting at the top of my personal chart right now!

 

I have actually ended up changing what I originally thought I'd send to this contest. I suppose this isn't a million miles off WMC's sound either actually, although wouldn't describe it as a banger, moreso super dark and moody - but still very 80s synth-pop. The lyrics struck a bit of a chord and the production is killer so really want to send!
