I'd be surprised if Kate asked for a reset- maybe if her son nagged her into it like he did with her live show :magic:

Running Up That Hill becoming known to a new audience that may attract buyers to Kate's Greatest Hits.

Isn’t the whole story from 1986 her only greatest hits album?

With her streamings constantly increasing you feel that if it wasn't on ACR she would have got to number 1 at some point in the next couple of weeks

We don't know if the Arctics label even asked for a reset for 505 though. Maybe they didn't and it would have been granted if they had.

Is the ACR system really working if Kate Bush is potentially denied a new peak because it can't get reset and something like Peru (yeah I know but it's a good enough example) meanders along for a 20 something week in the top 10 with next to no chance of reaching a new peak and blocking climbers from reaching that milestone.

I think most will agree that Peru's very much flouting the system, but I expect the OCC would very much think ACR's doing its job for Kate Bush. I don't necessarily agree but they could've easily changed the rules to help Mariah and Wham! achieve those #1 peaks even sooner if they wanted the publicity of old songs reaching new peaks, but it's clear they'd rather favour newer stuff even if that's a 9th week at #1 for Harry.

Each to their own but seeing old songs back in the charts adds excitement and sometimes grabs headlines which OCC should be thankful of as less and less people take heed of the charts anymore.
Kate Bush CAN have an ACR dodging megahit if she wants - just needs to go via proper channels like everyone else does nowadays ie get on phone to Ed Sheeran and ask for duet. Who knows with the rightly timed remixes she may even get longer in the top 10 then 'Preu' :P
I’ve said this like a broken record (pardon the pun) but there really shouldn’t be any ACR rules whatsoever and a 1:300 stream ratio across the board.

The same streaming ratio across the board isn’t such a great idea. Apart from the fact that we’d have Baby Shark in the Top 40 permanently and 6ix9ine would have reached #1 with Gooba thanks to huge Youtube streams, surely it seems only fair that the 2 types of consumption should be credited differently.

Because it still hasn't ever had 3 weeks of streaming declines (above that of the market) in a row.

I for one could live with Baby Shark in the top 40 forever if it meant RUTH could get to no.1 tbh.

Hoping Mariah and Latto can keep hold of that #20 position but I think they might lose it on the last day like last week again.

wow kate bush going strong..too bad we didnt have thursday update

hope mariah is still at top-20 tomorrow
