Thanks you to our wonderful Qween John for hosting the semi-finals, and congratulations to all the qualifiers! Voting for the Grand final is now OPEN!

 

Here is a quick reminder of the rules for this competition:

- Only those who are taking part in BJSC 149 can vote. All non-qualifiers must vote, too

- Please format your votes in the 'One Big Final' system, so your top 15 with the following points distribution: 18, 15, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

- All votes are to be sent to me (WoW73) by PM please!

- The deadline for voting is Tuesday 8th of November 23:59 GMT, late votes may be accepted (probably until noon on the 9th), however, a 15% deduction will be applied to any nation submitting their votes after the deadline.

- Any nation who fails to submit their votes will have a 33% deduction applied to their points total. They will also be banned from entering the next contest.

What a run *.* I’m used to sending dark entries but on this occasion it looks like ‘Good To Go!’ will actually be brightening up the mood after those :lol:

((turns out Winona Oak was a 'death slot' placement a few contests ago, so all may not be lost Cody!!))

I didn't expect it to be 42 (!) entries to be in the final these days! But I guess it's more fair, since the SF split is always distorted, and one SF is usually stronger than the other.

It was 41/42 songs in the final the last few times you entered as well, that switch was made in BJSC 74*! (a final this big will be new to Ben's Sanctuary though)

 

*well technically it was then changed to be either 41/42 or 37/38 depending on if we have 61+ entries or not although it was recently changed again to be 41/42 regardless

I don't think you shouldn't return! You had one of my favourite songs of last month so there are fans! Just this one wouldn't have the appeal to be honest.

Voted and way earlier than I usually do. It was a decent final and 10 commiserations but even then the quality wasn't as strong as others this year.
