November 10, 20222 yr I’m really enjoying this. Best of the three she’s released from the album so far.
November 10, 20222 yr It's so catchy! I reckon this will be a hit. She's onto a winner with this one. Third time lucky! :cheer: Stop!!! using your words as weapons They're never gonna shoot me down Stop!!! it's time that you learn a lesson My love is gonna drown you out Do you wanna fight, do you wanna dance? 'Cause tonight might be the only chance, so Stop!!! using your words as weapons Edited November 10, 20222 yr by Voodoo
November 10, 20222 yr Such a bop! Love it, hope she can get a hit from it, thats 3/3 bangers from this era! So excited for the album
November 11, 20222 yr Another banger! Not quite 'Maybe You're The Problem', but we'll see how much that differs the more I hear it. She serves my pop needs so, SO well. I love her. #4 on New Music Friday UK!
November 11, 20222 yr ^^Great start with play listing. Hopefully this can at least outperform Maybe Your The Problem.
November 11, 20222 yr This is really good! Was beginning to think she’d lost it after the last two naff singles.
November 11, 20222 yr I usually love a bit of Ava Max, but I'm finding this a little bit "Ava-Max-By-Numbers" and just very... meh... Watch it return her to the Top 40 and prove that I know nothing
November 11, 20222 yr Author I'm really liking Weapons on first listen. I loved the previous two singles too. It's so hard to predict what will catch on for Ava at this point, but I'd like to think Weapons will connect with the public better. Of course that's very reliant on streaming platforms giving her a chance. The NMF UK position seems positive, but I'm not sure how they treated her previous two releases.

They were much lower down iirc! This is a bop! 'Maybe You're The Problem' is still by far the best thing she's done this era, and probably 3rd overall (behind 'Sweet But Psycho' and 'Kings & Queens' for me) but this is still really good.
November 14, 20222 yr This is really good. I hope it can do well come the new year. Reminds me a bit of "Blinding Lights" production-wise. Edited November 16, 20222 yr by Envoirment
November 14, 20222 yr Based on the comments above I was expecting this to be epic :kink: I mean it’s ok but can’t see myself returning to it - MYTP was miles better but there seems to be some payola behind this one with the Spotify playlist position and I’m sure the record company will push this hard to benefit from the Christmas song clear out in January. Ava needs this to be a decent sized hit to salvage the album.
November 15, 20222 yr MYTP is incredible, but i think this is the worst outing yet from D & D sadly... Anyway, she performed "Million Dollar Baby" at the EMA's S8vVDaqYQxk
