PSYCHO coming for a repeak :D

As long as it doesn’t push MIH out of the top 5

Kylie back at #27 thanks to the vinyl re-issue :cheer: And not as bad as I feared for Louis Tomlinson - I was half expecting him to be around #45+ today.

Didn't expect to see Ed and Elton that high as it wasn't among the top tracks performing on Spotify. Must be another platform like Amazon.

Pogues 53. Not that it's bad but to think it was up there with Mariah and Wham!. Seems to have dropped off a bit.

Glad to see Kelly back in the top 75 already. No sign of Leona yet for the holy trinity.

i think i read somehwere that ed/elton is high on amazon so yeah that might be helping it, plus its one of the few xmas songs not on acr so that us also helping it be higher

Glad to see Natalie Imbruglia's Left Of The Middle there in #70, thanks to the blue vinyl edition :D
I thought Dermot’s pre-sales would be higher with his 10 vinyls.
Good to see Elton/Ed collab already in the top 40. I do think it will be a Christmas staple for a few years

Oh since 'Messy' has already gone top 5 it would be nice for 'Psycho' to have its turn. Doubt its close though.

Nice to see Firebabe looking to climb. Hope the album effect sends the song into the top 10 next week

Oh after seeing BROCKHAMPTON not in the top 40 I kind of assumed they were just not charting at all but just looked at the top 100 and I see they're not far off at #47, fingers crossed for them to stick around in the top 100! (I say 'they', this album is actually essentially a Kevin Abstract solo album released under the name of the group lol, they dropped a second album that also has the other members on it as well but it was a surprise release with no fanfare so no shock to see that one actually not charting. 'The Family' was released on Thursday so I wonder if it would have been top 40 today if they had dropped it a day later).

Nice to see Weyes Blood's album so high today, her last album got to #68 so she should at least beat that, hoping she can remain top 40 though. Woo for 070 Shake heading for her first credited top 100 single as well (thought she might have scraped it last week but I guess it started taking off too late in the week) and perhaps Romy making it in too for her first solo top 100 as lead artist.

Looks like The Pogues are slipping a little further down the rungs of Christmas classics sadly - this time last year they were still the 3rd highest but they're now down to 5th behind Brenda Lee and Michael Bublé (not counting Ed/Elton because that's on SCR) - but still overperforming relative to how minimal the support they get from Spotify is compared to the other biggest Christmas classics. Meanwhile it's looking like Wham! will probably catch and overtake Mariah yet again, it's so curious how Mariah has always consistently been the first out of the blocks but ends up often being overtaken closer to Christmas itself (by The Pogues ~back in the day~ and Wham! more recently).

I would expect it'll drop a bit over the week as it's being artificially boosted in the mids by the Amazon exclusive orchestral version which for some reason is being pushed as part of their new Christmas offerings.

Why is Thriller 40 counted as Thriller, when Thriller 25 was counted as a separate release?
weren't the rules different back then when thriller 25 came out?
Looks like Bad Habits has been starred out (with the arrival of Merry Christmas, just like last year), although it can't be far behind Shivers.
