FINALLY! Take That had returned in 2006 and produced some amazing songs such as Patience, Shine and Rule The World. They followed all of this up by releasing Greatest Day in November 2008 which typically went to no.1 despite being a huge comedown in quality. Gary’s strained vocals on a pretty weak song, it soon got played over and over on football highlight coverage and clearly wasn’t as well lived as the previously mentioned songs, only just cracking the top 50 year end and not even matching Rule The World’s 2008 sales.
