I have always kind of championed LB but after that revolting begging video, it’s Wham! all the way for me!
I wouldn't rule them out just yet, it looked out of reach back in 2018 till they bulldozed through later in the week.

I agree we shouldn't rule them out but the download market was healthier then, and the British public love an underdog, which they were first year out.

But with streaming data not counted yet for yesterday, Wham! are probably only realistically about 4k behind at this point rather than 13k.

To add 5,100 units after that video yesterday is not massively impressive so it will need a major shot in the arm now. It's still feasible, they probably only need another 30k to do it, across four days is 7.5k a day, but they'll need to pull more tricks out of the bag based on current form. They'll know this so I'm intiruged to see what they have planned.

I'm also glad I had that backup 33/1 bet on Mariah, I mean if she's only 300 copies behind Wham! then she's probably got a fanbase that can be activated more easily to close the gap, so I'd expect that campaign to kick into gear once the Lambily get wind of that too.

Still a three-horse race I think.

sure they have a last resort plan in case things get very close, like a last minute version with Ed & Elton or something
LadBaby will have to do more than 5,100 per day for the rest of the week as that would put them on approx. 52,500 which won't be enough. It sounds like that was more than they did on Saturday though so it depends whether their 'promo' is actually working in making more people buy the record, or whether it's been flogged to death already.
According to the latest pathetic video there is another 'surprise' coming tonight. Urgh.

C'MON WHAM!

Their previous video mentioned how they don’t have the massive stars to get them the streaming. I wonder if they will release a “special guests” version tonight which miraculously has big names on it

Get there fans buy 6 times sad lot ladbaby fans are

Just like The Kunts getting their fans to buy 14 versions?

Get there fans buy 6 times sad lot ladbaby fans are

What is the difference between that and people buying 15 copies of a Kylie or Steps album?

What is the difference between that and people buying 15 copies of a Kylie or Steps album?

they don't buy the same album 15 times, they buy different variants

and it's cos they like it

not cos they have been bullied into

Surely they're gonna phone Desperate Debbie Ed Sheeran? He is OBSESSED with the Spice Girls' xmas no.1s and OBSRSSED with being thr biggest chart force ever with thr most no.1s, even with fake salss of cheesy shite. He would RUN and FLEE to the recording studio faster than a gammon to a Daily Mail srticle about Brexshit to get even a SNIFF of another no.1 at Xmas. He did it last year!

How has Sam Ryder managed to hold onto a top 5!? Wow! I definitely thought it'd be a 1-37-89-OUT kinda album (with it re-entering Eurovision time)
Total slay from national treasure Sir Sam Ryder saviour of UK Eurovision

Edited by Megg065

Sam's did a lot of promo throughout last week, even doing The One Show after he'd already gone in at #1, so I guess that will have helped him get a good start to week 2. I think he's also got some gigs this week too.
