I just noticed the only Christmas song in the charts is Christmas Drillings at 65.

Is Bloody Mary on ACR or SCR? I know it’s an older song but it hadn’t charted before this.

It's on SCR, was given a manual reset a few weeks ago. (Songs that are over 3 years old are automatically on ACR unless they are specifically reset even if they have never charted before)

Is there still potential for Pointless to be a huge New Years smash? I’m not really a fan but it seems a pretty obvious Lewis Capaldi hit, so it’s weird to see it struggling on Spotify, and struggling for a top 10. It’s doing better on Apple though.

i don't know if he's shipped them or not but her has a bunch of cd singles waiting so when they ship that could help it into the top 10

I think there's still time for it, as it'll surely pick up on airplay now that Christmas is over.

That’s your opinion which is subjective. It’s actually not a bad song, a definite grower.

Raye holding onto #1 and Gaga staying top 20 would be a great result.

 

Also happy to see Ella at #39 in the albums chart.

Of those outside the top 40, I think the following qualify for a reset:

I think Christmas Drilling is benefitting from still being high on HH, which hasn't updated in ages

 

Just checked Lewis's store and the CD single is officially put Jan 13,

there are actually 3 different CD singles, all signed, and selling for 0.99, so they're clearly going for it

Amazed some think this won't go top 10, I'd say it even has a chance at #1

also with CD singles they can make them count whenever they want

I think Pointless could very easily go top 10 when the CDs come out, it's almost top 10 without them so it can't be that unlikely. #1 seems *way* out of the question though? Forget Me sold 5,561 CDs and 2,889 vinyl, Pointless will need a significantly higher amount for #1 (genuinely over 3x as many probably). Setting expectations that high feels like the perfect way to call it a flop when it doesn't make #1 :P

but I'm sure the minute the label decides this will move to #1 on every imaginable playlist on Spotify

then release the signed cd singles and sure you got at least a top 5
