January 3, 20233 yr I make it 19 songs in that top 40 update to be on ACR, although 6 of them only went during December (Anti-Hero, Made You Look, Messy In Heaven, Miss You, Psycho, Another Love) so could be handed resets if consistent with last year, as well as many just outside the top 40. You can say none of them will get new peaks, but that can by spun many ways e.g. if Another Love got a reset and everything else didn't, it would maybe go higher than #10.

January 3, 20233 yr Just for clarification, all these potential January resets, is this because the singles in question were 10 weeks old and had 3 consecutive weeks of declines that otherwise wouldn't have declined if the Christmas songs hadn't dominated?
January 3, 20233 yr Just gave that 'SPIT IN MY FACE' song a listen - post-punk music in the singles chart?! :cheeseblock: Ooh, this has passed me by entirely like Kordhell did before appearing in the chart but intrigue. (Another interesting looking electronic song I've not heard of showing up at #87 as well - 'snowfall' by Øneheart and reidenshi) Also put this on and it's a really pretty, albeit short, instrumental :o had a flick through the YouTube comments and saw a couple of Ronaldo mentions :lol: going to guess it's a TikTok edit thing ~~~ It's wild to see 'Bloody Mary' taking off to this extent but I'm so here for it *.* definitely a Halloween classic in the making. Also happy to see RAYE looking good for #1 as 'Escapism.' has grown on me so much!

I did write it off as the sort of songs that'd struggle to go top 40 even on it's first seek now that it could be possible I'd love it to happen. It probably won't still though unfortunately. '10:35' so high is great too and 'Bloody Mary' top 20 as well. Crazy!

January 3, 20233 yr Whitney also getting the benefit of her biopic I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY in cinemas at the moment. That combined with the fact it has become a NYE playlist standard means it could well return to the top 40 by Friday! Her best of album at #14 in midweek estimates would be a new peak for it too. Surprisingly, itnever peaked higher than #27 unlike her 2 previous multi platinum greatest hits collections so would be great to see it go higher! It think it's just a case of label deciding that they want the streams to count towards that particular GH now.
