Haven't done one of these for a while so I thought it was about time. With Miley's new single set to hit #1 later today, that made me think of other songs with the word 'Flowers' in the title. Surprisingly there haven't been that many, 11 of them if we limit it to UK Top 20 singles. Pick your favourites!

 

I actually like almost all of those :)

 

(Apologies to fans of Armand Van Helden's 'Flowerz', I only just remembered that, I probably should have included it but obviously it didn't come up in my search and I cba to add it now)

It's a very mixed bag here. You've got one of Ed's worst ever songs, one of the worst ever dance remakes in Nathan Dawe, and one of the worst songs I've ever heard in my life in Lauren.

I voted Travis as I love that song. Really surprised and happy to see it currently leading the poll here :D
I voted for Miley Cyrus, Scott McKenzie (who also shares his name with a fellow pupil from Rosehill School in Nottingham where I used to go to!) and Sweet Female Attitude.
Voted Scott McKenzie, Sweet Female Attitude and Miley (though it's early days for her, obviously). Many of the other options descend into meh.
Ofc Miley”s hasn’t technically charted yet hahaha (last minute physical sales from 20 other songs to come)

I thought Miley would be the only one looking at the list but spotted Travis which I heard the other day funnily enough. Great song that.

 

Oh and Sweet Female Attitude as well. Another vote to them.

Yeah, I did consider including songs with the singular 'Flower', for the very reason of being able to include that song - the original Roxette one though, cos it's a timeless classic :wub: and also 'Life Is A Flower' by Ace Of Base. Probably should have tbh.
