Dancing

Say Something

Padam Padam

The other two have been really special songs to me for so long... although when I experience 'Padam Padam' at Prides over the summer maybe it'll rocket past 'Say Something' in my affections?

1. Dancing

2. Padam

3. Say Something

Dancing remains my favourite of hers, I think it’s in the top-5 of all of her songs for me!

Padam is amazing but lacks the depth and grooviness in production and is too short (I know why they did it, but the longer version would work for me better).

And Say Something is a very solid song, but too on a safe side for a lead from Kylie.

Say something as I loved it instantly and still do. Dancing I love it but wasn't sure to start with, padam padam I do like alot but feel in time I won't listen to it nearly as much as the other two.

Padam is sheer shit! But I always find the crap Kylie songs always become the hit sometimes.

I hope single 2 is much better

For me padam padam is far from shit, its catchy but i will say she does have far better singles in my opinion, i don't find to many Kylie songs crap but in some cases not always do her best singles achieve the best chart success, likewise i would say many of her number 2 hits are better than her number 1s. Padam padam love it or hate is doing something for Kylie that hasnt happened for a while which is grabbing attention outside the core fanbase and thats very hard to achieve for kylie at this stage of her career.

1) Say Something

2) Padam Padam

3) Dancing

I'm absolutely loving 'Padam Padam' at the moment but it's too early to place it at #1 when 'Say Something' has secured its place as one of my favourite Kylie singles ever!

It’s pretty amazing how strong all three are and how they’re all nothing like one another. To have three leads that far into your career what are still unique and boundary pushing is such an achievement.

If I had to pick though I think Say Something is my personal favourite ❤️.

It's good they all have votes as they are all good in their own way.Dancing is usually good for picking up casual sales so hopefully a few more on the back of padem padem.

Was playing kylie material from recent years alot the last few days and my ranking would still be:

01 Say Something

02 Dancing

03 Padam Padam

However if i was to base the songs on the first time i heard them it would be

01 Say Something

02 Padam Padam

03 Dancing

The padam padam chorus is extremely infectious, once you hear it it just stays in your head so so easily whereas i dont think the choruses of dancing or say something had that effect. The infectiousness of padam padam is no doubt a huge part of its success.

All 3 of these lead singles are fantastic & very different from each other which shows how diverse of an artist Kylie Minogue is.

1. Padam Padam
Already this is up there with Kylie's best lead singles, an instant classic that couldn't more different from anything she's recorded before. Even at this stage in her career Kylie delivers something unexpected with her breathy & sultry vocals over its vibrant production & catchy electro pop banger with an infectious chorus. Kylie's recharged & ready to go, can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

2. Dancing
The song that revitalized Kylie's career with this catchy country/pop classic that showed Kylie refreshed after a rather difficult & underperforming 'KMO' era. Full of joy that became an instant Kylie classic.

3. Say Something
This may be in last place, but its still an amazing song with majestic production, euphoric chorus & gorgeous vocals. This was quite unexpected given that it was more future disco that the other album tracks, but nonetheless yet another instant Kylie classic.
