September 18, 20232 yr Possibly - although the official store is automatically sending replacements, and I got an email from HMV stating how to get a replacement disc. I ordered the mega bundle but it still hasn’t shipped yet until they get the replacement CD - bit annoying that it’s held up my entire order when I pre-ordered months ago :drama:I received my mega bundle still! How odd.
September 18, 20232 yr I received my mega bundle still! How odd. Mine said ‘complete’ now it’s changed to ‘active’ and states it’s awaiting a pre-order item which I can only assume is the replacement CD?
September 18, 20232 yr Come on Busted. Take a leaf out of Anne-Marie’s books and do some social media campaigning
September 18, 20232 yr I dont love or hate Busted but id be happy to see them finally get their number 1 album, also hoping the Sugababes the lost tapes can stay in the top 100 come Friday.
September 18, 20232 yr Because that worked so well for Anne-Marie... She did have Travis Scott dropping an album out of the blue don’t forget
September 18, 20232 yr Leigh-Anne x I was going to say, I thought I’d missed a LeAnn Rimes comeback
September 18, 20232 yr LeAnn Flops is still in the top 100? :o :o :o Not surprised the BTS related thing has vanished without trace.
September 18, 20232 yr With the Guest List edition fiasco and the aggressive pricing of the physicals / bundles / downloads, are Busted even gonna make profit from this release?
September 18, 20232 yr With the Guest List edition fiasco and the aggressive pricing of the physicals / bundles / downloads, are Busted even gonna make profit from this release? I’m sure the profit was waifer thin even before the issue with the CDs, they wanted the #1 so much that they’ve basically absorbed the cost - such a shame that if they don’t pull something out the bag they will be overtaken by Olivia it seems :drama:
September 19, 20232 yr LeAnn Flops is still in the top 100? :o :o :o Not surprised the BTS related thing has vanished without trace. To be fair, it was an EP of several songs, not one song. Debuts #2 on US ALBUM chart. Edited September 19, 20232 yr by Sour Candy
September 19, 20232 yr Tate heading for top 10 is a surprise but so deserved, the song is a massive bop I’m so here for this resurgence of females consistently getting genuine hits again, feels like the tides are shifting a bit
September 19, 20232 yr Tate heading for top 10 is a surprise but so deserved, the song is a massive bop I’m so here for this resurgence of females consistently getting genuine hits again, feels like the tides are shifting a bit FINALLY!! The charts were unbelievably sexist, rewarding maudlin males at every turn!!!!
September 19, 20232 yr With the Guest List edition fiasco and the aggressive pricing of the physicals / bundles / downloads, are Busted even gonna make profit from this release? I guess they've decided the profit from the tour is worth it, and can afford to make basically nothing from these physicals.
September 19, 20232 yr I dont love or hate Busted but id be happy to see them finally get their number 1 album, also hoping the Sugababes the lost tapes can stay in the top 100 come Friday. Such a shame the Sugababes haven't got any more Vinyls available, I missed out on getting one.
September 19, 20232 yr Leigh-Anne leaving the Top 40 in its second week. I bet Warner will be investing on her next releases.
September 19, 20232 yr Leigh-Anne leaving the Top 40 in its second week. I bet Warner will be investing on her next releases. Investing? They already have TBF - the first release had 2 physicals and a big budget on the video, the 2nd single had 3 physicals and a big budget on the video. Her team need to work on getting her TV promo, a capital radio interview is not going to launch her as a solo artist.
September 19, 20232 yr FINALLY!! The charts were unbelievably sexist, rewarding maudlin males at every turn!!!! Mind you the charts were incredibly hip-hop and UK rap strong at the top of the chart for quite a few years, which are hugely male dominated genres, but aside from a couple of obvious big hits this summer, Dave being the biggest, these genres have really taken a commercial downturn. I'm not really sure why, older demographics transitioning onto Spotify I guess. To me dance seems the dominant genre this year, there's regularly 5-7 dance hits in the top ten at any given time, and many of these have female vocals, plus it's been a huge year for many of the current a-list female pop stars too whereas many of the reliable non rap/hip-hop male stars either haven't released or have started to see the start of commercial downturns (Lewis/Ed).
