as it is a year ending in 4 I suppose we are due to have the 2020s Mr Brightside peak at #10 this year...

I'm going to be keeping my eye out for this #10 peaking hit all year now!

Reset Mr Brightside and Unwritten too for a proper early 00s comeback please. :cheeseblock:

Mr Brightside would probably never go to ACR again if they did that (maybe in December / over Xmas if we you’re lucky!)

They should reset it for the breakdowns it would cause here on BJ ready for it's 20th anniversary of chart dominance!

Kinda here for Vance Joy's random bigger resurgence than ever x

Just noticed Kanye's 'Heartless' has now overtaken 'Runaway', but seems like it's another one that may have missed the boat to get a reset (not complaining, I do like it but not as much as 'Runaway' and it was a big hit already unlike that, also we don't need multiple random Kanye resets x)

'Unwritten' now top 40 too *.*

'Heartless' another #10 peaking hit - something in the water clearly

Whilst I appreciate the odd surprise resurgence like MOTD is getting, the amount of pre 2020 tracks is depressing to see. Need some new music ASAP.
Stargirl interlude :cheeseblock:

Technically still not a new peak as it reached #55 on release in 2016 according to Kworb

Is a bit unfair that Mr brightside never allowed a reset for being popular for longer

Well I won't complain about 'Unwritten' getting a boost too as it's pretty good (at least it's not 'These Words' which I find rather annoying).

It's crazy how much bigger 'Unwritten' has become over time, back in 2004/2005 you'd never have guessed it :o

If 'Pocketful of Sunshine' could some belated UK chart justice I'd be very happy!

It was a decent sized hit - by far the weakest of the 3 singles out IMO. 'Vampire' has done extremely well especially as it's not instant.

It's the best kne! Sounds just like WE!Are Never Ever Ever ... but don't tell Taylor!

If they wanna revive a Natasha Bedingfield song, I’d rather they revived Bruised Water with Chicane as it’s a classic dance tune and shame that never became a hit or her Sean Kingston collab even though I do like Unwritten and the underrated Single

Better not look at the Amazon chart!

Amazon Prime Chart (Includes explicit songs which are excluded on the normal chart)

2. Sophie Ellis-Bexter - "Murder On The Dancefloor"

6. Taylor Swift - "Cruel Summer"

13. Lorde - "Royals"

14. Bruno Mars - "When I Was Your Man"

16. Taylor Swift - "Shake It Off"

24. Adele - "Someone Like You"

26. Ed Sheeran - "Thinking Out Loud"

33. Taylor Swift - "...Ready For It?"

34. George Ezra - "Shotgun"

40. Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa - "One Kiss"

A lot more older songs in the top 100/200.

Also Lost Frequences & Bastille are #1 on Amazon with "Head Down". Future hit? Although Noah is likely #1 combined (he has 2 versions of "Stick Season" top 10, with a 3rd in the top 20 and a 4th just outside the top 50)

Also Miley Cyrus - "Hate Me" randomly appearing at #59!

I’d like Strip Me to take off. Still annoyed it’s not on streaming in Australia.

Bizarre how 1 week ago, the Amazon exclusive was fighting for xmas #1

now the current #1 on Amazon is not even top 100 in the Mids! and the song was top 5 on Spotify/NMF, didn't go top 200 but must have gotten some Spotify streams too

^Why so?

Nice to see Sophie now #2 on Spotify, Amazon and Apple <3
