Found January quite a struggle to find with a couple mentioned here but since we've now arrived in February this one immediately comes to mind

from a lost 70s folk gem of an album:

"Remember the day

When I left home to buy some food

Myself in that painful February mood

I did what I could

Remember that day

When I left home to just buy some food

Considering if one shouldn't die or if one should

Sun was high

And I found me on the road to Genoa

Did you ever drive in a moonstruck constitution?

And find to reach a seaport and down there is a solution

You should if you could

There slowly, slowly, I no longer thought of what is good or what is not

There simply was the water's smell and remoteness

I only stood and watched that old, cold ocean

In tender and bright, full, unspeakable emotion

I did what I could

All was good"

"But February made me shiver

With every paper I'd deliver

Bad news on the doorstep

I couldn't take one more step"

lyric in reference to the fatal plane crash on February 3rd 1959 killing Buddy Holly and his support acts

That's the one I was going to use, with today being the 65th anniversary. Instead, we've got this:

On face value it looks like I don't know what month it is...

...but I had it on today and it has the lyric "Well, life's a train that goes from February on day by day"

T'Pau - Valentine

Had to dig a bit to find a song with February in the lyrics and honestly this is not even near my favourite song on its album but worth a mention because the album as the whole is fantastic (and the album art is still my laptop wallpaper x)

Can I post this every month until May? :D (and then again in September and November)
