Mann) hRXlyoVlWTs When I think of this subject I think of songs that remind me of a specific place and time and this will always take me back to going to the beach and staying overnight at a beach house back in 2012. I could have honestly picked any BTR song since they were one of my personality traits for a solid year and a half
April 3, 20241 yr Day 3: I first heard it in the credits of the first Wimpy Kid film - a classic to me  sbCEcX0pzMg

April 3, 20241 yr Day 3: A song you like that makes you feel nostalgic vIaH35-MLsk The late 2000s was a time I enjoyed and the synths in this song especially are so nostalgic! Edited April 3, 20241 yr by TheSnake
April 3, 20241 yr April 3rd – A song you like that makes you feel nostalgic El53OmboUx8 Sonia y Selena - Yo Quiero Bailar This reminds me so much of family holidays to Spain growing up  my mum's side of the family is Spanish and my great grandma had a flat there. A local pub played a compilation on repeat, my dad asked what it was because he liked the music and this CD turned out to be Caribe 2001: El Verano Ya Llego. He subsequently bought a copy and this soundtracked many holidays to come! 'Yo Quiero Bailar' really stands out from it in particular - I even sent it to the BuzzJack Song Contest as a swerve to my more alternative style there usually and it finished top 10 *.* April 1st - A song you like with a day in the title: New Order - Blue Monday April 2nd - A song by someone who appeared on a TV Talent show: Mary Hopkin - Those Were The Days April 3rd - A song you like that makes you feel nostalgic: Sonia y Selena - Yo Quiero Bailar
April 3, 20241 yr Day 3: PC57z-oDPLs A lot of first year of uni memories, it distinctly reflects that year where I feel I was properly growing up for the first time still learning now x
April 3, 20241 yr Day 3 Cranberries- Linger, this song always makes me feel nostalgic, maybe even more since Dolores passed away... G6Kspj3OO0s Yeah my parents had a Cranberries CD they often played when I was younger, so its also nostalgic to me. Then there was Dario G's nostalgic operatic trance cover of Dreams (Dream To Me) in 2001. Edited April 3, 20241 yr by TheSnake
April 3, 20241 yr DAY THREE: NOSTALGIA oag3I4VRXyM A song I've been trying to force into the Sunday sessions in the chart forum - but then never turned up to hear it so I let it down... but ultimately it is a song that reminds me of my childhood. I wasn't alive when this was released but my parents played this song a lot over the years when I was a child in the 80s. I love the way it builds throughout and I just have so much respect for Joan as an artist - realistically it must have been so hard to break through into the music industry during the 1970s as a black female queer artist from Birmingham who wrote her own songs, I have a lot of respect for her and it's difficult to think of anyone else who is comparable from the UK at the time. This was her biggest hit and I still love the memories it evokes in me when I hear it.
April 3, 20241 yr So many songs bring back nostalgia! But I think I have to go for the first song I ever downloaded: bfa9yxCpWoA
April 3, 20241 yr dandy*, I am not familiar with that Joan Armatrading song, her 1983 hit 'Drop The Pilot' is great though. Edited April 3, 20241 yr by TheSnake
April 3, 20241 yr Sonia y Selena - Yo Quiero Bailar Iconic choice, when I was living in Madrid last year there was this one gay club that played this every time we went  definitely a camp classic! ~ Day 3: Growing up my parents would always play a combination of The Element of Freedom by Alicia Keys, I Am Sasha Fierce by Beyoncé, and Life in Cartoon Motion by Mika. So it has to be something from one of those, and this was definitely a favourite! srMBZiqNMaM

April 3, 20241 yr Day 3: -lGbKLugKPk Could have gone with so many, but this constantly pops up in my Spotify Most Wrapped, so must be a bit of a go to old skool choice for me.

April 4, 20241 yr Gotta give it to my 3 Indobros for this one. Unfortunately, it failed to chart on my personals that time. Would've been there had it been released AFTER the Shang-Chi album. _KzHGbpxMOY
