April 8, 20242 yr Brilliant for Conan to be top 3 at this stage, certainly wasn't expecting that! It's a great album so fingers crossed it stays top 10, wonder if it could even manage top 5? Hopefully it will outpeak the #8 of his previous album anyway. Very surprised that Vampire Weekend are that low, was definitely expecting to see them where Conan is!
April 8, 20242 yr oh poor Vampire Weekend, really thought top 3 was doable and even challenging for #1 considering the crazy good reviews :/
April 8, 20242 yr Can only assume Vampire Weekend lost fans after the abysmal Father of the Bride. It's certainly not at the top of my 'to listen' list
April 8, 20242 yr Official Chart Update Full update with sales here! Hozier less than 600 behind Benson after being 1k behind yesterday (according to the OCC report), so looks like he's very much on track for #1 this week.
April 8, 20242 yr g’won Hozier best song in that top ten if J Cole is going through with deleting that Kendrick diss from streaming then looks like he’ll only have one top 40 hit out of this album which is quite an underperformance
April 8, 20242 yr Looks like Beyoncé should rise to #3 in the album chart, maybe even 2 by the end of the week with 10k+ sales which is good! I hope "Never Be Lonely" manages to scrape the top 40 this week after being 41 last week. Jojo Siwa in at #72 in the first update - she'll likely rise come Friday. Imagine Dragons in at #82. Will be close if they make it or not (likely not). They've climbed Amazon and their youtube views have increased (yet to see if they enter the UK youtube chart). Will need more support from Apple/Spotify.
April 8, 20242 yr Shocked by the underperformance of Vampire Weekend! There's some pretty unpleasant rumours going around about Ezra. Certainly nothing that's going to make people rush out and buy their album!! I wonder if sales have been hit by that. Edited April 8, 20242 yr by DoBelieveTheHype
April 8, 20242 yr Haven’t heard any of the rumours nor do I care as everyone gets cancelled nowadays for any mistake they make!
April 8, 20242 yr I thought Benson boone would be a safe top 10 in the albums so 16 is a surprise. Come on Hozier and get the number 1 single. Hoped alibi would be safely top 10 ;)
April 8, 20242 yr Feeder will sell next to nothing between now and Friday. I think they'll end up on about 6k, wonder if either Vampire Weekend or Black Keys will overtake (I'm certain J Cole, The Weeknd and probably 1 or 2 others will). Depends how much they push! Bands can add a fair amount with "get up into the #1/Top 5/10" campaigns.
April 8, 20242 yr 'if u think i'm pretty' up 13 places since last Monday - if it does the same officially it'll be Top 40 on Friday
April 8, 20242 yr Very good sales for The K's, but I can't see it being another to beat The Libertines. I imagine they'll be #2 though.
April 8, 20242 yr Newies outside the Top 40: 41. David Guetta & OneRepublic - I Don't Wanna Wait 59. Benson Boone - Cry 72: JoJo Siwa - Karma 71. d4vd - Feel It (From The Original Series “Invincible”) 72. Imagine Dragons - Eyes Closed 83. Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe! 99. Luke Combs - Where the Wild Things Are Bakar is back in at #79 with 'Hell N Back'.
April 8, 20242 yr I thought Benson boone would be a safe top 10 in the albums so 16 is a surprise. It's charting on downloads and streams only so is doing pretty well I think
April 8, 20242 yr Not heard that Chappell track but nice to see her on course for her first top 100 potentially!
April 8, 20242 yr Haven’t heard any of the rumours nor do I care as everyone gets cancelled nowadays for any mistake they make! Not here to police anyone's listening habits (heck, Arcade Fire just came up on my shuffle playlist today  ), nor am I even certain that the allegations are about Ezra, but calling these sorts of acts a 'mistake' feels like diminishing the severity of actions caused by men like him in positions of power.
