May 6, 20241 yr Alright I'm back. Very happy with the win so thank you all <3. I was so rooting for Patrick and Freedonia and I voted for both of them!!! Also Jade wasn't far off of my votes, so perhaps I'll return the favor to you next month (I won last time you hosted :kink:) I need to look at my schedule and I'll come up with some dates. For now, I would like to think and say that I will be hosting <3.
May 6, 20241 yr Congrats Addy! That was a nailbiter of a results reveal, wow! So sorry for Jade to lose at the very end, but she's right that 2nd is still way better than DNQing the previous two months. Overall the contest wasn't much to my tastes, but I can't complain at 6 of my votes making the top 10. (Two of my top three finishing in the bottom three though!) I will say it seemed like more foreign-language entries than usual, which was a nice nod to Silas as our host. Happy with a 23rd-place finish even if it's mid-table, might as well spend my anniversary contest in a familiar spot. :magic: Thanks to everyone who voted for 'I'm Yours'!

Thanks also to all the votes for She Wants Revenge, 6th is amongst our best results, a 10th top 10 :cheer: Esp for medal-voting countries, Bronze from Mothertopia, Jadakissnia, Ajanaeda, and Golds from The Spodic Empire, Suedeonia, and 27 nations all point popping us in total, wow! from out points, good to see 3 of the top 5, including our dance banger fave Freedonia, and happy to support a bunch of tracks down t'lower end of the results as many that fell short of our votes managed fine without us contributing :cheer:
May 6, 20241 yr This was not my contest :kink: Vetoed last minute and then only saw I’d been vetoed when it was too late to reconfirm Karma Is A :lol: But no seriously, my 18 and the best possible winner, thrilled for Addy! And love Freedonia’s song too so the results look great to me. As I said in the odds thread, I knew my track record was pushing expectations of my song higher than reality, I was happy enough to qualify this month when I’ve not had time to discover new music and not wildly obsessed with my entry as I often am. It is great though! Will absolutely take 28th and attempt to find my next entry when I get back from Malmo!

A real shame that sadness missed out by such a small margin, but congrats to Addy for another win and a debut podium finish for Freedonia. Incredibly honoured to have recieved maximums from blacksquare, Bré, Dandy* and Jade! <3 Thank you all very much, I thought that there would be some ppl enjoying a bit of Neue Deutsche Welle, but I didn't expect that at all and I'm very pleased that it connected with you enough to rate as your favourite.
