Vanity did some seriously stunning shit in an hour. I'm glad she didn't have to lipsync because there's no way that deserved bottom 3. She's been seriously undersold this whole season (I'd arguably say Vanity, Nehellenia and Kween are the Top 3 at this stage), but anglosphere queens are the only ones that are allowed to be successful so...

Genuinely I think they think nobody watched Sweden so they can just shaft Vanity and people wouldn’t care :lol: Because for me she’s performing the best in the challenges overall along with Pythia, Kween and Nehellenia.

I’ve not noticed on any social media platform Kitty acknowledge her behaviour yet? Unless I’ve missed it, just makes me think she actually is a smug person.

Pythia changing character minutes before Snatch Game and being by FAR the best. She was robbed, Kitty’s was funny but I think it’s a better idea on paper than it was in execution, it was quite one note. However she was fine this episode really compared to how she has been, and she did deserve top, I don’t think the win was a stretch but Pythia was better imo. Pythia should be on 3 wins by now (acting, Ball and this). I usually hate historical figures/fictional characters but that was smart to listen to Ru and craft that character so well on the fly.

 

I don’t think Vanity deserved bottom yet again either, there was at least some attempt at a character and mannerisms. Alyssa yet again was just herself, she is terrible at Drag Race. She was lucky that others were awful in the Snatch Game so that was enough, I also thought Kween was pretty awful and of course Tessa, but then she had possibly the best runway along with Pythia and Vanity. Unfortunately Gala was easily the worst and I think she would have lost that lipsync to either Tessa, Kween or Alyssa anyway. She was bad enough in Snatch Game when she was speaking Spanish for it so I knew she would struggle here sadly.

 

Really if ever there was a season to skip Snatch Game as a challenge, it’s this, it’s another obstacle to the ESL queens who are overlooked time and again.

I agree, Kween calling Nehellenia a creep is just.. :/ With Kitty she’s just not for me anyway, but at times you can tell it is her humour like the cow comment, plus Nehellenia has said they are friends now so I assume she has apologised etc, I think Kitty has more instances of it but smaller things whereas Kween just says the odd thing but they are downright nasty not just a dry sense of humour or whatever. It’s congruent with a lot of whispers about her not being a nice person anyway, and it’s a shame bc out of the Ru girls she hasn’t had a challenge where she has done badly other than Snatch Game this week whereas Alyssa really could/should have had about 4 bottoms at this point and Kitty easily could have gone home first at the Ball.

 

As soon as I saw the cast leaked, I was expecting Kween to kind of have a “professional” cold type of edit, but just downright nasty is much much worse.

Honestly I thought the top was right and Kitty winning fair. She was my favourite, something about her Diana really tickled me. :lol: She also had a good runway.

 

Nehellania surprised me! She did really well and a gorgeous runway. Pythia was also a pleasant surprise as they seemed to be setting her up to flop with the last minute character change and such.

 

I didn't agree with Vanity & Tessa's positions. I would've had Alyssa as bottom 2 honestly with Vanity low and Tessa safe. Alyssa's performance was just hard to watch/cringe? Honestly really disappointed by Alyssa this season and the favouritsm is the only thing saving her :lol:

 

I think Kitty is just misunderstood on this season. Her humour is very dry/sarcastic/over the top and I think that's quite lost in the season. On UK3 she was pretty much the same (one of my favourite moments is her reaction to winning the The Miss Fugly Beauty Pageant challenge) but her type of humour is fairly prevelant in the UK. Add in the language barrier with the other queens and it can be a bit more difficult to read.

It's also very easy for the production team to edit to be more villainous.

 

 

 

Judging was pretty spot on this week tbf, I would have gave Pythia the win as her runway edged it but Kitty was a very close second so it wasn’t much of a stretch

 

Alyssa has definitely had a fair few passes at this point

Safe was generous for Kween. Vanity's Loreen was fine, just clearly nobody there except perhaps Kitty knew who Loreen is.

Snatch game keeps getting shorter and shorter to me.

Why on god’s green earth did they have a double win for a roast and yet when Vanity was in the best group for an actual GROUP challenge they put her in the bottom. Kween was definitely the best but there’s no way Kitty deserved that win, there were just the same old jokes and I don’t think delivering that confidently really makes that on a level with Kween who had unique jokes and delivered it well. I thought Alyssa’s content was unfunny as well, whereas Tessa I think had the content there but she didn’t believe in it at all. Vanity’s was lowkey one of the most uncomfortably cringe roasts of all time in such a way that I simply have to stan.

 

I think a roast is probably the most unfair challenge to make ESL queens do, because the delivery and cadence must be so hard when it’s not your mother tongue. Nehellenia turned that around and killed it anyway! I feel like even more than Snatch Game even it’s just such an unfair challenge to have on a global season.

 

Unfortunately this did have to be Pythia’s week to go, she had the worst roast alongside Vanity, and Vanity gave for the second week in a row the best lipsync of season and honestly one of my favourite individual lipsync performances ever on the show. She’s the first to get 3 wins on my judging and I was thinking maybe I can give her a low placement where her runway saves her, but Tessa’s was just stunning as well, even moreso, I saved her in mine as Soa is still there and whilst she was great at Snatch Game on her season, I think she’d struggle with a second language roast.

I cannot watch Kitty anymore. It’s impossible.

I really enjoyed Kitty, Nehelani & Kween. Happy with the win of Kitty & Kween, both had me laughing. Kitty's runway was her best so far!

 

I felt really sorry for Tessa and Pythia. Both had really great jokes but they didn't deliver them very well. I loved Pythia's one about after how seeing Kitty she knows why the UK currency is the great british pound - had me laughing so much :lol: :lol: :lol:

 

Vanity was the worst quite easily. :(

 

Alyssa was passable, but a bit disappointing.

 

Vanity killed the lip sync. Shame to see Pthyia go but it was definitely her time to go this week :(

 

Honeslty I think the judging has gotten better the further on in the season we've gotten. Although a roast challenge is something I think should be excluded for global all stars due to most of the queens being ESL. Despite Nehellania doing so well, I believe she's more so the exception.

I don’t know man…Vanity has overstayed 3 episodes already…I mean she is giving minimum each episode and I can’t watch it anymore.

 

We had 2 winners, why we couldn’t have 2 shantay you stay as well!!!

This is the only bottom Vanity has even remotely deserved, and she absolutely killed that lipsync. Fair enough Pythia has a better track record but it comes down to the lipsync, otherwise there is no point in even having a liosync, Ru might as well just arbitrarily send someone home each week :lol:

 

Although they could just throw in some riggory for her too since they’re doing it for Kitty :lol: Just put her low and put Tessa in the bottom but I think Pythia was coming too close to their precious Ru girls so they had to hand Kitty a win and take her out. Pythia is one of those queens though with a glaring weakness of dancing/choreo/structured comedy so she’s not the best lipsyncer and will probably always fall to a challenge like this, but like I said it feels even worse because I really don’t think they should even have a roast on a global season as a lot of queens say it’s the hardest challenge and I can’t even fathom having to do it in your second or third language like Tessa, Vanity and Nehellenia.

Oh yeah I’m not criticizing the lip sync. She ate. But I just want for her not to look dead every time there is a challenge. Pythia might be one trick pony but it just felt like she went too soon while Vanity and Tessa are still there. That’s all.

I think with the AS2 run Alyssa had it was a perfect storm of things. Her story line with Phi Phi, the double win of her & Tati to eliminate Phi Phi and come back in the competition then the Rolaskatox f***ery that kept Roxxxy all the way to the end.

 

If you took out Roxxxy I don't think Alyssa was going to make it much further against the likes of Katya, Alaska & Detox anyway. Plus some of Alyssa's funniest moments are usually unintended and were from her bouncing off other queens. We saw it a little bit with Tessa this season, but I think the issue is being on a season with so many ESL queens it becomes harder for Alyssa to have the same type of impact as she did on her previous seasons if that makes sense?
