Is this better? (page 1 has the first idea for comparison)

Love this format but it’s a lot of work to do! :drama:

That format is better but aren't you just making extra work for yourself.

You don't include fallers so if it's listed and it's not marked as a new or re-entry as before then it must be a climber

The emoticon codes are easy so they're not really extra work at all. That's the only real difference when it comes to the latest format I've just posted.

It's obvious to those of us who have been here for a long time but there have been semi-regular questions about whether songs/albums are climbing or re-entering etc, so I'm not convinced it's especially clear. It's more for the benefit of new members than anyone else.

I don't particularly mind which format we use which is why I'm trialling these out - good to gather opinions so we can find the format that best suits everyone.

Glad you like it! The emoticons are the only difference and those codes are pretty easy to type so it shouldn't be any extra work at all really.

I personally think the one I suggested is better, but might be biased
The most recent one looks really good I’m defo liking that the best! Plus like previously mentioned it makes it clear for everyone especially newer members

Those sales are insanely close in the singles omfg!

Hopefully with JADE returning to number 1 on iTunes those sales can make some kind of ground up!

Oh and yes the new format is great.

oh so Eminem has physicals? is it cassettes like last week or cds too?

Cassettes are the only physical available atm. CDs aren't out until September and Vinyl release is due in October.

How good is that Sevdaliza track with Pabllo Vitta called "Alibi"? I am really hoping that can go top 40 at some stage.
Is that Cruel Summer finally returning to ACR?? *.*

Looks like it but still her second best currently

It would also be good to see Dominic Fike sneak into top 4 with "Misses".

Didn't know about Olivia having a vinyl release for her album deluxe this week - actually a little surprised that didn't sell enough to at least be #1 midweek tbh, but in any case definitely looks like an easy second week for Eminem. Interesting that his album appears to be getting a second week of cassette sales potentially similar to the first week!

Nice to see Billie and Chappell now both in the top 3 (lots of movement since First Look already but I guess it was/is all small margins). If only one of them could unseat Sabrina. Meh at Myles Smith also being dragged up to the top 5 by the ACR update as well. Also wow that Dasha looks likely to return to her peak or even get a new one after all this time! Hopefully Kendrick can get back into the top 10 again by the end of the week (possibly overtaking Jimin depending on what the current gap is?)

Also yay for BL3SS and Jordan Adetunji hopefully both heading for top 20 + the double new peaks for Charli with 'Apple' possibly jumping straight into the top 30! And 'WILDFLOWER' is not quite one of my faves from Billie's album (would have preferred 'SKINNY' or 'THE GREATEST') but good to see her coming to get a fourth charting song from this album, just checking Spotify and I hadn't realised such a big gap had opened up between the top 4 and everything else, 'WILDFLOWER' still as high ad #74 but nothing else in the top 200.

PS: if you're looking for old midweek information, all the old Friday (and Sunday!) Chart Predictions threads can now be found in a separate archive forum underneath the Chart Vault, for members only  the weekly chart show threads are all archived in another brand new section just above it!
I thought YouTube views didn’t count in the UK? I know it does in the US.

Fantastic work Joseph! That will make searching for any old midweek sales data far easier.
