(the quality gap between SF1 and SF2 is insane, just about the whole of my top 20 of SF2 would've been top 10 in SF1)

voted! really strong semi for me this time, would've been happy with my top 15 from SF1 to be my final set of votes from the whole contest!

Yeah, I really don't get how y'all not feeling quality of semi 1 tbh.

Ooops the deadline came round VERY fast, will get my votes in before midnight.

Right? I’ve been focused this whole week on my German language exam (tomorrow at 9am) and had forgotten about the deadline being before the exam and not after

Even after relistening to allow for growers I only really had 7 songs I wanted to vote for in semi 1, it's definitely one of the weaker semis I can remember for my own taste. There are plenty of pop/dance songs there that I see the appeal of but they are just ok for me personally though (and can certainly see one of those being the winner, or tbh Aeroche could possibly finally win again this time and I'd be happy with that x).

 

Semi 2 is thankfully a lot better for me, I've got 14 points worthy songs there and I think I'd say about the same as Dan re: as far down as ~20th in semi 2 being songs that would have got points from me in semi 1. Depending on how the qualifiers shake out I wouldn't be surprised if my final votes only have like 3 or 4 semi 1 songs. (The autoqualifier being a banger doesn't help on that front either x)

Used that deadline day in the UK, day following the deadline in France 1 hour window to vote again x

Semi 1 there was only 8 songs I wanted to point so had to scrape the barrel for the last 2. Semi 2 however I counted 18 songs I would happily point!

That was kind of my point though. By Aeroche standards it's been a long time! (Of course not so long by the standards of the rest of us plebs x)
