Stick Season sadly didn't hang on in the top 100 this week but Lose Control just did!!!
So 'Lose Control' is the first song to survive two Christmases this decade then!

obvious to us chart watchers of course but big yes for Stick Season holding on to #1 for the year-end, it's way better than Beautiful Things and Espresso

Too Sweet also great to see make the top five!

big thanks Joseph for all the top 100 prep and hosting tonight! always great to be here for the year-end list.

Thanks everyone for taking part today!! It's been brilliant as always.

There's no First Look show on Sunday (whether the OCC post an update or not, who knows, I'll keep an eye out), so I hope you all have a very Happy New Year! See you next Friday for chaos :D

'Beautiful Things' is another one that has grown tired on me but much prefer it to 'Stick Season' which never got the hype over oops.

What do you mean "for chaos"?

It's frustrating that I will have the time to write a decent chunk of my commentary before the chart show as it is the last day of the school holiday, but I might not have any information

Estimated #101 - #105:

#101 Tate McRae - exes

#102 Jordan Adetunji - KEHLANI

#103 Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger

#104 Gracie Abrams - That's So True

#105 Mitski - My Love Mine All Mine

I thought Stick Season would be EOY #2 after Espresso :o

Edited by TheSnake

'Stick Season' is my favourite EOY #1 in a few years *.*

Thank you Joseph for your hosting today and throughout the year!

What do you mean "for chaos"?

He may not have much of a clue what is going to be in the top forty. The mids usually give us a pretty good idea.

What do you mean "for chaos"?

Well there's 37 Christmas songs in the chart this week that won't be there next week...!

Springsteen's track hit number 9 in 1985 but it was as a double A-side with something else. The Chuck Berry one also hit 36 in 1963 and Queen's hit 21 in 1984. No clue why the charts company have these listing's as separate

Slightly ironic that a song that mentions Christmas is denied a full calendar year in the chart by the Christmas onslaught

The sales reports are on Music Week

They are in the place where they usually do the Monday and Wednesday updates.
