That's an interesting list! From Eva Cassidy & Katie Melua - What a Wonderful World onwards, they're all charity singles. So the last "normal" #1 (without an attachment to charity) to be uncertifi

Very pleased to see 'Slow' finally get passed the Silver mark. Strange it's taken so long, it's much more of a classic than its sales would suggest and doesn't deserve to be a part of this list of #1

There is a shocking lack of Paramore certificated tracks. Considering the number of their albums.

Surprised Adele's 30 has "only" sold 900k almost 4 years on...her stratospheric superstar sheen definitely had diminished by that album.

Does Leona Lewis not get a credit for You Are The Reason?

I thought the duet version was the most popular.

the original version has 4x as many streams as the Leona duet but regardless she wouldn't get an official credit with OCC/BPI unless the label requested it

^It's only in the US where the most popular version of the song is the one that counts for the chart.

In the UK, the credits are decided by the labels that inform the occ

900K is not bad for an album with basically 1 hit and that was abandoned on release day, you're not gonna get much points from streams with just 1 big hit from an album. Considering the album is Adele at her dullest and zero inspired, 900K is ok. and I'm a fan. but 30 was not it.

It's also one of those album where the label pressed gazillions of vinyls that no one bought and are collecting dust in record stores.

She had 3 top 5 singles from it that all had multiple weeks, just because EOM was the only one pushed hard doesn't mean it was the only hit the other 2 top 5s went platinum too

Definitely a major step down in terms of performance for Adele and you'd be saying the same if was anyone else

I think that the main reason that it was a step down in terms of Adele performance is that most people don't really buy records anymore. A lot of people have turned to streaming as it's more affordable than buying records.

I'm not disputing that at all, what I'm saying is suprised when you look at her first few weeks of sales.

But then again Coldplay opened with over 200k last year they took ages to go platinum i guess

Anastacia - Sick And Tired

Only going silver now is diabolical! Such a great track but guess it suffered from the low singles sales market back when originally released. The album did sell very well though at least!

Linkin Park - Heavy Is The Crown

Great to see another certified song from their recent album!

To be honest i think the reason it wasnt as succesful as her previous ones its because it was a boring album one of the same..

Exactly, see how many vinyls people like Taylor is shipping
