Ooooh Jade! Stay top 40!

I'd like either of the two contenders to get it, basically ANYTHING but Gracie.

And also why is Myles Smith.

He was on Graham Norton on Friday.

Fingers crossed for a reset with the Grammys then #1 shot with Vinyl in March? *_* Wonder how many vinyls were released? Although I assume the orders may have already been added to the chart sales? Or is it only when orders are dispatched/confirmed to be sent that they can be added to sales?

Correct on the last question, only when an item ships does it count towards sales

Either 'APT.' or 'Messy' would make for my favourite UK #1 for quite a while (since 'vampire' if not 'What Was I Made For?'), in contrast to 'That's So True' being my least favourite UK #1 for an even longer while... so I'm loving this First Look but unfortunately I fully expect Gracie will rally more over the week like she did last week and still end up being #1 quite comfortably, unless there's some sort of concerted effort by one or both of the other two (or they just pick up a lot more on streaming over the week).

Hoping 'Bed Chem' and 'Taste' will both vacate the top 10 again by the end of the week if they've just got a vinyl boost, although the former wasn't exactly far off last week so probably won't have need to sold much for that to be enough to hold on. Egh at Myles Smith potentially looking to go top 10 again as well.

I would welcome Apt or Messy as the new Number 1.

I wouldn't rule out Gracie holding them off

Theres two theories kinda going around the fanbase. One is that the video was scrapped because it would've drawn inspiration from or perhaps starred Barry Keoghan, the rumor when they broke up is that they were trying to keep the news from coming out til after the video was able to be released. The other is that it was delayed due to the fires in LA. Sabrina, who lives in LA, has been radio silent since the fires except for one Instagram story with a link to fire relief effort

Fair enough , just knew there was a lot of hype that the video was dropping in January so seemed odd but that would make sense

As much as I love the gracie song would be nice to see APT get a turn , not fussed on messy so don't care if that misses

Wasn't Apt out on physicals already? I think they were released in late 2024 or are they doing more?

Would really like Apt to go to #1, super catchy song, but doing it cos it's the most stremed song in the country

not cos of Alexa as it is now

It feels weird for how big APT has been that it hasn’t actually gone to #1 so I’d be here for that happening but like others have said I can’t see it happening, I imagine Gracie will overtake and get it again. As much as I really like the Gracie song would be nice to see APT or messy get a chance
@bjork they had cd singles but they’ve now got vinyls. It’s a us based push tho as on her website it says “these vinyls contribute to the billboard hot 100” so they wanna go for a new peak over there, but also have them available on international stores too

Great to see Franz Ferdinand Number 1 at at this point, but unless they push hard they'll most likely lose out to Chappel Roan.
Why is Chappell above Sabrina?

There was a new Blood Records vinyl shipping this week

OCC crediting "Tweaker" to Ball Brothers. Guess we have the official name now!
