Following the same structure used in the Dance and Electronic forum, we are going to run the same weekly poll for new pop and country releases in 2025. Each week, 8 new releases are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner which will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year at the end of each quarter of the year, and then again at the end of the year to determine the ultimate winner of 2025.

Last week's results;

Tom Grennan – Shadowboxing [ 8 ] ** [42.11%]

Zach Bryan – Blue Jean Baby [ 4 ] ** [21.05%]

MØ feat. Biig Piig – SWEET [ 3 ] ** [15.79%]

David Kushner – Breathe In Breathe Out [ 2 ] ** [10.53%]

Cat Burns – GIRLS! [ 1 ] ** [5.26%]

venbee – this one's different [ 1 ] ** [5.26%]

Rascal Flatts feat. Jonas Brothers – I Dare You [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

Talia Mar – 365 [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

Total Votes: 20

With double the votes than anything else on offer this week, Tom Grennan continues his new era with the single Shadowboxing, the second single to follow the single Higher.

Although I love the new Lisa/Raye/Doja song, Abracadabra is probably the Pop Track of the YEAR so far, so it has to be that.

This week's rankings;

1. Lady Gaga – Abracadabra

2. Alice Chater – Bed Of Lies

3. LISA feat. Doja Cat & RAYE – Born Again

4. d4vd – One More Dance

5. Elton John & Brandi Carlile – Who Believes In Angels?

6. Caity Baser – Watch That Girl (She's Gonna Say It)

7. Ava Max – Lost Your Faith

8. Rachel Chinouriri with sombr – All I Ever Asked

Abracadabra is absolutely brilliant but I have to give it to Lisa x RAYE x doja, such a great song. Also love newbies from Caity and Ava too. Such a strong week
I’m being a maverick and voting for Rachel Chinouriri which I think is a gorgeous track, but Gaga and Lisa are my 2nd and 3rd.

Abracadabra by some way for me, but I also liked Caity Baiser and actually quite enjoy that Elton and Brandi song.

Ava was quite disappointing and I didn't get a huge amount from the LISA song on first listen.

All I Ever Asked has always been a beautiful track, think I could do without the extra vocalist on it though, I'll stick to the original.

Abracadabra for sure, but Watch That Girl (She's Gonna Say It) and Born Again are both good x

My recommendations:

Biig Piig - 9-5

Nessa Barrett - AMERICAN BEAUTY

Fiona Lee - To Make Me Feel Good

ASTON - Nerve
