I just think that when the Apple chart is filled with baby lullabies, whale songs, thunderstorms, white noise and unceasingly insistent stage & screen soundtracks, that maybe the OCC's chart does

wow Ethel Cain top 5 in albums, crazy how much her fanbase has grown!

also nice to see Miki Berenyi (ex-Lush) at #12 with her Miki Berenyi Trio

Mumfords are down to #45 but expected I guess. But kinda sad for a band whose debut album

stayed 104 weeks in the top 40 and peaked in its 72th week in the top 100, where it stayed for 218 weeks

and those were based on proper sales not playlist counts

those were other times :o

Really thought the Mumfords would have more staying power than that, I know streaming will be going against them heavily but still expected a 2nd week Top 20 at least!

They're actually at #6 on Kworb's Apple Albums

based on proper album streams without taking into account playlists

so again the charts would tell a different story if album streams were counted properly

So that would mean that PARTYNEXTDOOR & Drake, whose album is #3 on Apple, is even more hard done by through playlists, given that it's even lower on the midweeks? 🤔

Will be interesting to see where they are come Friday in the Streaming Album charts for comparison

I just think that when the Apple chart is filled with baby lullabies, whale songs, thunderstorms, white noise and unceasingly insistent stage & screen soundtracks, that maybe the OCC's chart does a better job of depicting the chart as it should be.

Guessing Pantheress is doing well on Amazon? Happy for her to have another top 40!

Where is Alex Warren's album please ?

Do we know if Ed has Cd singles counted in?

I know the ones on his store are out in late April but the ones at HMV were supposed to be out this Monday?

or did they change the release to end of April too?

I have not heard of any being shipped and Amazon says April 30 too so I assume nothing was shipped yet

Sleep Token still at 6! This is getting exciting
