Official Charts Report

Alex Warren’s Ordinary is once again ahead to top the Official Singles Chart. If it makes it to Number 1 for a fifth consecutive week, it would officially become the longest-running Number 1 of 2025 so far.

Record Store Day 2025 could help two former Number 1 tracks re-enter the chart; Taylor Swift’s Fortnight ft. Post Malone could re-enter the Top 10 at Number 2, while Charli xcx & Billie Eilish’s Guess remix could rebound to Number 11.

WizTheMC and Bees & Honey’s Show Me Love could lift up one (7), last week it became both acts’ first UK Top 10 hit.

She’s back! Lana Del Rey’s melancholic Henry, come on could be this week’s highest new entry; predicted to debut at Number 18.

Sonny Fodera & Clementine Douglas’ Tell Me is so close to breaking into the Top 20, up seven week-on-week (21).

The Minecraft movie has taken hold on everyone’s TikTok For You pages with the insane reactions by audiences to Steve’s Lava Chicken, now released as a soundtrack single by actor Jack Black. It’s set to break into the Top 40 (27), up 50 from last week.

K Koke brings back memories, I really liked 'Lay Down Your Weapons'! Don't know any of his other stuff though!

That was insane and very unfair

Please could you tell me Chesney Hawkes new album where charted into the Official UK Albums Top-200?

Sales Chart was at #10

Physical Sales was at #10

Downloads Charts was at #3

and Official Charts NOT CHART

Thank you so much in advance

hope there's some nice RSD effect this week

Oasis are releasing a vinyl x Time Flies, so that might go top 10 maybe

also don't forget Taylor is releasing Fortnight on the cutest vinyl and all the Swifties

have been lining night overnight to get it this morning

not sure how limited, how many copies were made

but Fortnight could re-enter next Friday depending on availabiliy

I’ve been seeing the number 77k copies over my socials. Not sure how accurate it is but I’ve seen multiple places mention that!

Uk? Or worldwide?

My store has lots maybe 200

And its a little store in a little town in the middle of nowhere in Denmark

I think Those Damn Crows will do pretty well with their album, another Lottery Winners-style band with a dedicated fanbase.

Predictions

  1. Ordinary

  2. Azizam

  3. Pink Pony Club

  4. Show me Love

  5. Beautiful Things

  6. Busy Woman

  7. Sports Car

  8. Anxiety

  9. The Giver

  10. Nokia

Midweek album charts will see a lot of movement due to RSD but probably very few new entries come next Friday and I wonder if Sabrina could climb back to number one

Bon Iver should be #1 in album easily I thought?

Last album entered at 11 on 4k sales. They'll likely do way better this time but number 1 is not guaranteed

That was without physicals

Ah didn't realise. When the physicals released it did another 4.5k so about 8.5k if both were released together. Reckon this one will do around 15k so will depend on how well Sabrina is doing for number one

but this time Bon Iver's label have been pushing like crazy

lots of variants, long campaign with new songs to get pre-orders, tv promo even Justin was on Fallon

but maybe it's wishful thinking on my part

Those Damn Crows' last album in 2023 did just over 10k first week, certainly wouldn't rule out them contending for #1 this week.

Looking forward to seeing RSD impact on the album charts -

Guessing Sam Fender will land Top 20 if all 6k sell out

‘Wicked’ only had around 800 available in the UK so won’t return to the #1 on compilation chart

Hopefully Top 100 entries for Oasis, Gracie, CharliXCX (Guessing if the Oasis one counts towards the original version of the album they’ll be an easy Top 10 seeing as it does well on streaming each week).
