If they’re not capitalising on Halloween, why not have three episodes a week?

I'd rather it was on Halloween as I had plans to have a mini watch party with my friends after taking my niece trick-or-treating 🥲 Guess it gives me an excuse to see them again the following week now 😅

The faithful feel as dumb as Australia Season 2 atm. The roundtable was all over the place again, it’s not helped by it all being spaced out by another week as well :D

Jonathan needs to go - I feel like Alan and Cat are 1 step away from throwing him under the bus. But then they don’t need to as the Faithful seem to be just so dumb

I don't know, it's really easy for us to sit here and say it's so obvious, but the game is hard when you are a faithful.

I'm starting to really enjoy the series now, felt a bit odd at the start with the celebrities but I think it's good you have a mix of people taking it very seriously and people who are kind of half arsed and having a laugh with it all.

The finale being mpved to the Thursday makes sense. I suspet this might be a sign of things to come for Series 4 as well - gives the show even longer to grow an audience. It's doing massive numbers so it makes sense to me.

A shame for Ruth, she clearly had the right idea, but was perhaps a bit too forthright (and I'm glad she's putting her name out there as she was fab in Fall of the House of Usher) and it was a good strategy. I'm stunned that Jonathan survived even if the supposed double bluff worked and the blatant lying about an alliance, the choices have been pretty out of nowhere. Part of me can't help but think producer interference as I imagine they wouldn't want a final without at least two of Jonathan, Stephen and Alan.

(I'm watching a celebrity series of a reality show, what is wrong with me x)

OH FFS. Ugh. Needed Ruth to stay, she was great! I really need Jonathan Ross to piss off, truly. Idk how much more I can bear to watch him... I really don't get how he will be working his way out of this one with Clare gone and announcing herself as a Faithful... he is SURELY number 1 target now?? But Mark isn't helping himself...

Celia MUST be protected at every cost imaginable! What an incredible casting decision to get her on board.

Lucy: "You know what you do in a well, don't you?"

Others: "What?"

Celia: "Put the Pussy in?"

cheeseblock

Just caught up with the two episodes from this week.

Loving it. Alan and Celia are the absolute highlights.

Johnathan can go though, I’m getting the feeling Cat and Alan will throw him under the bus fairly soon.

Yea surely now that Clare is gone they will go for him next, I'm so here for Cat and Alan throwing him under the bus

If they recruit it's gotta be Celia or Charlotte now but I fear both might be banished if so

Oh yes! Here for either Celia or Charlotte being recruited. If they go with a male, one of the Joe’s would be good.

They need to find a Traitor first though - and we're nearly half way through 🫢

Hopefully Jonathan goes next and then they recruit. Although Alan and Cat seem so far under the radar that they may not choose too

Yes, you’re right. I was presuming Jonathan would be gone next. We’re almost half way through with no traitors caught.

Jonathan has to go next-he’s killed/banished everyone who was in the car when he talked alliances.

Slim pickings for any future recruits tbh.

Another reason I’m annoyed about the finale date is that I’m on a school residential trip from the 5th to the 7th!

The format really needs a shake-up. People are probably scared to vote out Traitors because they know there'll be recruitments and they have to start from scratch again.

Maybe it would work better if there were more Traitors at the start (5? 6?) which should guarantee a certain amount of episodes for the show without it being grossly unfair on the Faithfuls?

It seems like even in the game the cast know that the game only ends at the fire pit/last Round Table. Although the rules state that the Faithful can end the game whenever they think there's no Traitors left it's quite obvious that there's ALWAYS going to be at least one for the sake of making a thrilling TV finale with the fire pit.

There's so many little flaws in the game that really need sorted out.

It sounds like you're kind of jaded by the format at this stage - as you seem to be the only one not enjoying the series (i'm sure others aren't, but it feels like the show is getting blanket positive feedback at this stage) - I also know a fair few people who are tuning into Traitors for the first time (and loving it) just cos of the cast.

I think the only thing that needs to change is back up to 3 eps a week - 2 isn't enough.

I don't think they're scared to vote out Traitors, I think they just haven't got a clue, are grasping at anything and not really working as a team - the fact the vote has been so split kind of feels like they don't want to be influenced and have herd mentality.

The format itself is quite flawed really, but it manages to be entertaining enough that a lot of the viewers just aren't bothered.

But yes, given they have to fill 9 episodes (or 12 in the case of the normal version) and it's not a structured "one person kicked out each week" format, there's the recruitment and everything else.

Part of the enjoyment is watching how the traitors regroup after a loss. Can they regain momentum? Do they get flustered and make clumsy mistakes? Yes we know there'll be recruitments, but how will the recruits manage? None of this is set in stone, so I think looking at it like "traitor banished = recruitment = boring cycle" is very surface level when the context makes such a huge difference.

The final banishment in the finale does at least give them a chance to have a firepit without a traitor, we saw precisely that in series 3 with Charlotte banished at the roundtable. And even at this point, they kept banishing - it's all about the paranoia!

Honestly I think messing with the format would be risking the popularity of the show. It's found a winning formula, and the reality shows with the strongest longevity are those that stick to the format as much as possible (see Strictly and BGT, in comparison to X Factor, and even Big Brother UK which is a far cry from what it used to be in terms of its status and popularity).

I think Charlotte will be murdered next due to impact. Although David is the smart choice instead, I don’t think It will rattle them as much.

I am pretty sure Jonathan is on the verge of being found out. If he’s replaced then Stephen is the choice I would make as he’s seen as the other big dog and once the Traitors one is gone then who would think Stephen was one as well?

Alan going in on Mark wasn’t his finest moment. In fact it was a tad unnecessary given Joe had already gone in

I kinda feel annoyed at that roundtable and it even made me go off Alan quite a bit. I know it’s just a game but I found him being a bit too much with Mark.

How the hell is Jonathan still there!
