THE SOLO MEN AUDITIONS

It's time to welcome all the men to the stage as they audition for you, the voting BuzzJack public!

How it works:

AI RitaBot 3000 had some input in deciding how voting should work to avoid any controversies, and once you have listened to all of the contestants perform you should post a ranking of each of the performances. You can rank them from best to worst (making clear which is your favourite down to least favourite), or use the template below:

For those voting who have entered one of the contestants into the competition, you should rank all eight performances, and when totalling up scores your entry will be removed from the list to retain anonymity in the competition.

When voting closes, the seven solo men with the highest scores will proceed while ONE of our men will be eliminated from the competition and will not be going through to the next round.

Voting will close on Tuesday 27 May 2025, 18:59 BST

100%, as long as your artist is credited as the main artist or they’re the main vocalist if they’re the featured artist on a song.

Any songs at all from the artist's discography! (as long as they can be found on streaming/YouTube for us to hear )

But will there be a theme in subsequent weeks or do we just carry on submitting whatever song we like? (a theme would make more sense to me, even if it's just ballad, uptempo, big hit, deep cut etc.)

No plan for the rounds to be themed, sorry. Kind of limits artists with smaller discographies that might end up making it further in the competition. All I'd say is take into account what all the other artists could end up having submitted and try to showcase your artist as best you can without showing all your cards. Part of the strategy really.

I have an issue with 'Crocodile Rock'... right... it's a bop, really it is - clearly as it's my number 1 lol, but I just want to listen to Only The Young's mash-up version of it instead
