I think this will be to Sabrina as "The Giver" was to Chappell. Decent song that will be a hit, but not a #1 hit. I like it after a couple listens.

This has grown on me more and more over the last few days and it's a really fun, catchy pop bop!

Excited for this BUT GET A JOB STAY AWAY FROM HER @ Jack Antonoff (yes, I'm aware he was behind PPP but still, his name always fills me with dread of boredom).

The chorus is GREAT!

I really like it after one listen. If you're not a Sabrina and Jack together fan, you're probably not going to like it. But it's a bop and I'm loving this a lot more on first listen than I was 'The Giver' for Chappell (just using this as a reference as some have already compared the two)

I don’t mind it - I can’t see it being number 1 though. It does remind me of The Giver and I reckon it will probably do similarly chart wise.

The chorus is definitely catchy. Pretty massive on its own.

But the verses are a bit messy and meh.

With it's apparent immediate playlisting, it could take #1 for a week or two, but I don't think it'll be there for ages.

I see the comparison to The Giver.

more Giver than Espresso

at least Her Instagram caption makes it sound like this is just a one-off single, and not the start of a new era. wonder why it wasn't in the deluxe last Feb.

The comparison to ‘The Giver’ is very accurate.

That being said, after 7 plays it’s finally clicked with me!

It’s certainly better than The Giver lol A bit more of the same for me though from her, I do like this sound but it definitely feels like a deluxe single than something to potentially launch a new era.

The Giver was (for me at least) far far better on initial listens (but more suited to my taste) only comparasion I see is they're both standalone releases following a string of smashes.

I can see this going to #1 at least for one week though. I did enjoy this but may like it more on repeated listens. Here for a new #1 though and Sabrinas definitely got the star power at the moment to do that!

On first listen it definitely feels more low top 10 but long running ala bed chem type of run, definitely doesn't sound as instant as espresso or Taste,

It's gonna gey huge day 1 streams regardless from people being curious

Actually change my mind think it needs repeated listens but its grows with each listen for me and can see it being huge, 10 week number 1 huge probably not,

Not quite sure the giver comparison, for Chappel that was totally different to TRAFOAMP sound, this is quintessential SNS sounding

Top of the NMF playlist on Spotify. Hopefully, it helps to dethrone that Ordinary deadwood from number 1

I really like this but I can’t disagree that it does feel like a retread of the Short N Sweet sound rather than developing anything new. And it’s the production that lets it down, which furthers my feelings of “get a job stay away from her” @ Jack Antonoff. The production at the beginning is almost identical to Good Luck Babe actually.

Not sure how much longer she’ll be able to get away with delivering a similar sound so I’d like to think her and her label are smart enough to mix up the formula for her next album and this isn’t actually a taster of what’s to come.

But yes, another bop, more great lyricism from Sabrina which really captures her personality and I’m sure I’ll get plenty of play out of it. A long running #1? I doubt it but probably another decent run in the top 10. Wouldn’t surprise me if, after the curiosity streams, it only keeps Ordinary off for a week.

I think the video is released in a few minutes usually her videos do huge numbers that should tell us if it’ll get to #1

I'm really liking this and the video was fun too, it's clear she's getting the big budget now. I just hope this is rounding off the SNS sweet era as i'm hoping for a bit of a switch up in her sound for the next album.
