Sabrina is very careful with her wording always when announcing stuff like this. With espresso she called it a little song before coachella, people assumed it meant it was a standalone but she never said it was. Same thing here, she said she wrote it on a random Tuesday not long after short n sweet. But that doesnt mean it was a leftover or anything else

I've just heard two girls in Starbucks in Grimsby singing the "is it... stupid or is it... slow?" part of Manchild, so it's official. Manchild is TAKING OVER the coffee community, so I think it's on

  • I've been much less successful at chart predictions in 2025 (so far) than last year but this is a bit freaky! today's Spotify chart: 193. The Stranglers - Golden Brown !!! I assume this has to be

Now that is one "freaky position" on the album cover 😮

Pleased to see 'Manchild' continuing to be number 1! I think it's setting her up nicely to have a decent run at number 1 tbh! I don't think it'll be a one week number 1 wonder.

Wonder if Ed’s next studio album will do better than his last couple. The singles seem to be hanging around

Well autumn variants was independent and only just gone silver would be colossal disaster if he doesn't beat that

That's the whole point, she misled people :D don't think anybody was expecting a new album in less than 3 months

1 she didn't mislead anyone and 2. SNS was only a year after EICS so looks like a standard turnaround on her end

Could she be coming for both 1 and 2 in EOY charts 😮

just checking out the Beach Boys chart history and they didn’t even release ‘Wouldn’t it be Nice until 1990 as an A Side!

Will Sabrina become the 2020s equivalent of Rihanna? Release an album almost every year for like 5+ years with lots of hits? *_* Will be exciting to see if she does.

Also Ed's "Sapphire" is looking to be a bigger streaming hit globally than "Azizam". Really strong views on youtube (24 million views in less than a week so far, "Azizam" is at 30 million after a couple months) and has already outpeaked "Azizam" on global spotify. In part due to it becoming a bigger hit in India. Either way really promising for him, hope it can manage to hold on for a top 10 debut in the UK!

Can we stop with the silliness that Autumn variations also

Known as Bad Folklore flopped cos it was an independent release! Some of the biggest releases in the history of music are independent releases, White Ladder did 3 million, all the Travis albums, Frank Ocean-blonde… if people care they buy, being independent is not a hurdle

Well not really, it was released independent, then he practically moved on a week or 2 later, didn't even bother to really push anything,

And was replying to "hope his new one can do better than his last 2" isn't AV his last one 🤭

Youtube update. Sabrina song held up pretty well. Usually the numbers nosedive after day 3.

MK - Dior now in the top 10

Nice to see Sabrina holding at number 1 on Spotify. Let’s hope she puts a stop to Alex’s reign at the top tomorrow

Sabrina extending her lead on Spotify, is a good sign and perfect for Thursdays guesstimates 🙌

Tinashe omg

It pisses me off that it's some generic dance version of it, but as soon as I heard it, after rolling my eyes, I did think it'd be a hit for them. So if it gives her another hit, LETS GO!!!!!

(The og 'No Broke Boys' is so good though... ugh)
