Our final Andra Chansen participant this evening is.....

Greenfroze: Venice Qin - NEW WOMAN

I don't have particularly great form in Buzzfestivalen compared to the main thing, so HOPEFULLY can nab AC here.

GAH you're quick Phil, every time I post, there's another response ahead 😄

Its the battle of the d(é/i)nia's!

going directly to the final is....

Hendinia: Meira Omar - Meri Jaan

Pleased for Hendinia but ouch at Skall - loved that. Last?

Which means i am so sorry Sandénia: Cil - hot shit came in 6th place with 32 points

42 was needed to make the second chance round this evening

Wohooo! :)

But sad for Sandénia :(

YAY

Honestly, Meri Jaan would've been my entry for the main contest this year and would've been my favourite entry of the year. But I just knew if I didn't send it here, then someone like LexC would, and then it wouldn't be mine in any form.

Your DNQ results table:

San	Ska	Yeh	Sey	Loo	Ojn	Eas	Hen	Gre	Aes	Alt	TOTAL	PLACE
Sandénia: Cil - hot shit 2	10 6	4 10 32	6
Lookylion: Mimi Webb & Meghan Trainor - Mind Reader	4 12 2 2	10	30	7
Séyetana: Girl Group - Shut Your Mouth (Sometimes) 4	2 4	2	6	8 2	28	8
Ojnoj: Audrey Hobert - Sue me 6 2 4	6	6	24	9
Eastovka: Awich - Frontiers	2 6	8 16	10
Skall: Erika De Casier - Delusional 8 4	12	11

Bis bald in République d'Áskorza

Lol well that's 3 out of 4 of my semi-final faves gone, relying on the one I actually had a chance to vote for then

Honestly thought 'Delusional' might have made it anyway despite the bad draw but oof I guess that's a definitely not. Need to get on that Erika album. Sad at Séyetana not making it either but happy with Yehesi going DTF and Aesthetica making AC (+ gwan Hendinia doing it for the mods xo).

My rankings of the DNQs:

1st Skall

2nd Séyetana

5th Eastovka

7th Lookylion

10th Sandénia

11th Ojnoj

So my entry doesn't even get a mention until the spreadsheet is posted. Okay...

Omg im so sorry 🫣🫣

I mad eit thru this for the first time ever I think But losing 4 of my top 6 in the process, a mess

12 points for one of the songs of the year is criminal

oof, did feel that an alt pop song might be out of its depth here but thank you for the compliments from those it was aimed at, and Rob for the 8 points! ❤️ Girl Group seem like a very promising set of newcomers

(bjfest is a hard comp to target)

Ok I am not normally outraged at my own placements but 12 points for one of the most beautiful songs to have been released in a while is not ok. Should not have trusted the crossover appeal even when the track is hardly out there!!
