Friday at 09:214 days Underwhelming lol, I think it was mostly whatever that challenge was supposed to be. I don’t think this cast is really giving great TV so far either, but it’s early days. And Plane Jane on our screens didn’t help.Elle’s win was completely egregious, I think I would have gone Sally or Bonnie for the win with Catrin also in the top. But then nobody really smashed both the runway or interview, Elle probably was the best in the interview along with Catrin so I guess they weighted the personality shown in interviews more. Weird choice of a premiere challenge, I just don’t think it worked. They could have done the Gala part as a mini challenge then had the two in one hometowns/icon runway or something as the main part or even a talent show.And then the lipsync was terrible and a waste of a great song plus the season’s big twist is used up already when this could have just been a non elim episode like premieres often are.
Friday at 09:344 days It was definitely a clunky first episode. I agree that 'challenge' seemed more of a mini and the inclusion of the other Drag Race Queens distracted from getting to know the new cast.Overall, I think the cast has potential even if it is on the younger side! Bones stands out as the most polished and their runway was the best by far. I actuallly really liked Tayris too so hope they only go up from here and Elle seems to be just the type of british comedy that Ru likes so i'm sure will go far.The lipsync was rough so lets just forget about that haha. But i'm looking forward to next week, a design challenge is a great opportunity to learn more about the girls whilst they're making their outfits.

Friday at 17:144 days The challenge and the judging was an absolute state but I really enjoyed pretty much all of the cast to be honest. Seems like a really great bunch of queens.The Lucky Cow twist really should have been something other than what happened though because pretty much every season of UK has ended up with a non-elim in the first episode. I'd rather the queens voted for whether it should have been used or saved for another episode, with there being a time limit on it ofc.
Friday at 19:124 days I didn't even realise the 'challenge' was the challenge until after — how is volleying with Plane Jane going to highlight and introduce your drag? Boot! You can boot the judging, lipsync and twist, too.
Saturday at 09:383 days Imagine Tayris being a first boot because Plane Jane is an utter misery and energy vampire and gave her nothing 😭Tbh that convinces me Elle’s win wasn’t totally undeserved because Plane was definitely the hardest interviewer and she did make it work
Saturday at 18:033 days Erm what was that win!? Titanic museum... as if anyone would have worked that out if they weren't told that already. I thought it was the worst outfit on the catwalk but then the pink carpet challenge definitely made them stand out. Still wouldn't have given them the win though a bit meh!I liked the cast though and think there is a possibility for some good characters to come out of it.
Yesterday at 10:251 day I caught up… not the strongest of eps and he challenge was woeful.The judging was also off too. I liked Elle but there was a heck of a lot stronger looks.The twist was a bit of a flop, glad Pasty was saved though.
