Genuinely loved Stephen and Rachel tonight. They (Rachel) in particular have been so clever

I think the chance has for Matt to be recruited now - although he’d have been easy to throw under the bus

If this is true then please can we not reveal it here, the show finishes tomorrow and I think everyone would want to watch that reveal live. Just a courteous reminder to everyone 🙂

  • Stephen has been much braver than I'd have guessed he would be throughout this season but wearing that outfit today was a new level.

  • Jessie Where
    Jessie Where

A big well done to the winner!

I do think if they recruited Matt and always intended to throw him under the bus it would probably raise too much suspicion of sudden traitor(s)-on-traitor at the round table, but then again with the actual good traitor hunters that were on the money gone who knows with this lot lol

Just dropping my piece after catching up, wish I knew about these threads earlier lol! It was quite an emotional episode. I did really feel for Ellie & Jade as the reasoning for both was just a bit vague, like they moaned Ellie didn’t talk much which was suspicious and now that she’s talking more it’s suspicious… she can’t win. I think by the end she had had enough but I wish Stephen & Rachel were able to try and push Jessie’s murder more onto James as I need him gone, he is such an annoying manchild. Baffled Stephen got away with it, it was the right choice to murder Jessie but I did worry he would catch some votes, honestly they talk things in the castle and bring completely different ideas to the round table, and they are constantly rehashing the same things - Jade is suspicious cos the cop lady said so, Ellie is suspicious cos she doesn’t speak much etc they never bring anything new.

My heart broke for Jade hearing her back story, I think as a young person I can relate to her being more protective and walls up amongst strangers and I’m glad to see her coming out of her shell a bit more now.

I am continuing to root for Rachel & Stephen, I hope they can manage to win it and they are truly working brilliantly as a pair, though I did think Minah could do it last season and it was around here she got banished and it seemed to come out of nowhere, I hope that since they are such a good team they can pull through and avoid as iirc it was down to Charlotte that Minah ended up banished.

As much as I don’t think Matthew would be a good call as a traitor as he’d be too loose of a cannon, I am wondering do they bring him in and quickly dispose of him just to give the Faithfuls another traitor, as he has heat on him and he is not making himself seem too trustworthy so will probably get himself banished. I fear if they don’t get another traitor it’ll be hard for Rachel & Stephen to take it all the way? Predictions for next episode I see it unfortunately being Jade, or more hopefully Matthew banished next, and faraaz murdered.

I think the best way to play it for a traitors win would be banish Jade next as she’s got (granted it’s very unwarranted) heat on her, then murder faraaz, James/ Matthew banished next as James’ done suspicious things so they can spin that ans Matthew also has suspicion on him and murder the other, leaving Stephen & Rachel + Roxy & Jack, Jack is closer to Stephen so they could convince him to banish Roxy and then Stephen & Rachel vote out Jack to win it!

I’m also not in full agreement that Matt came across badly today - he just went with his gut. People are being swayed too much by emotion

Just caught up on the first two episodes from this week, so I'm yet to see tonight's.

Harriet played an absolute blinder in the church and had the traitors right where she wanted them, then she just blew the whole thing up at breakfast. That was rather disappointing.

James is really the only faithful left I can get behind now (as I've seen the spoilers). I don't like Rachel much at all but she's played an absolute blinder, aided by both Fiona and Harriet hitting the self destruct button. If a sole traitor is to win I hope it's Stephen.

Oh yes the Jade backstory was horrible to hear - it explains a lot about the type of person she is, or at least that’s the impression she got

I’ve just watched the BBC sounds clip and the second envelope was (partially) opened to reveal that Ross and Ellie are together

Other than Judy and Roxy, I wonder if that means there are no other connections?

Unless Stephen’s name is actually Jason!

I think my issue is they always seem to label their feelings or opinions as fact when criticising and then get annoyed if the person they accuse reacts, like Jade no matter what she did they’d accuse her of being suspicious, if she fought back or aimed it at someone else or just sat and took it it would’ve been “suspicious” of her in his eyes. It was the same with Amanda, she had her opinions of Jade and it was taken as fact even though it was completely wrong, and even Harriet last episode all her “evidence” just seemed to be thoughts, opinions and gut feelings. I know that’s all they can really go off of but it’s hypocritical to feel entitled to express yours as fact and not allow the person to express it in return

Minah from last season did a interview on radio and said she can exclusively reveal Ross & Ellie and Roxy & Judy are the only relationships, though honestly who knows 😂😂

Sorry rambling tonight as I did 3 episodes

Oh Harriet. So I didn’t like her first couple of episodes and thought her and James were just too chaotic with theories. Also got a slight Karen vibe from Harriet

She then turned it around with her spot on observations and the great confession scene.

Only to undo it all and be quite nasty in her last episode. Saying that I was genuinely shocked it blew up in her face!

The first series has swearing in it... same with Series 2 and 3 - i'm guessing its the new 8pm slot and them probably wanting to attract a family audience.

Yes, they know they'll get more audience if families with young kids can watch it all together, a bit like X Factor, so they make it pg at most

It’s not about today, he’s come across badly the whole time for me. He’s arrogant, he’s not faithful to his current team to the extent he asked the traitors explicitly to murder someone. And as for today, he was accusing Jade of things she wasn’t doing. It was great she didn’t want to hug him.

I mean personally I think being slightly arrogant can sometimes serve you very well on the Traitors. It can also put you at risk but the whole point of the game is to put potential traitors under pressure and find them out

Honestly I agree with all of this, and I think he is letting his “deal” go to his head, he’s been acting quite arrogant as if he’s already a traitor before any confirmation of recruitment. The soonee he goes the better lol

Matthew is acting up for the cameras, just like Harriet did. Yeah he's arrogant, but you have to be in the game.

There's no way Matthew gets recruited now in any case. The only way a recruitment happens now is if one of Stephen or Rachel gets voted out (which is unlikely) as I suspect Rachel probably gives herself rhe double power and they use that to vote out Matthew. Only 8 left now - 2 banishments and 1 murder before the final to leave us with 5.

I think Rachel probably wins at this point, though honestly I know how hard it is to play the game, but I genuinely don't know how Rachel has come up zero prolonged suspicion at all and not been murdered.

I feel like I'm clocking out I don't find any of them left likeable at all unfortunately :( I felt the same way in S2 with Harry etc.

I'll try and stick it out but meh i just don't really care tbh

Jade's story at the dinner party broke my heart cry

I was out last night so was waiting to catch up on the episode when I got home - however the bar I was in happened to be screening Uncloaked on the TV screens without sound and it totally spoilered it for me. I was so pissed off, I don't get why they would do that.

I really like the bond Stephen and Rachel have and aside from maybe Linda/Minah last year I can't remember the last time Traitors had eachothers back like this.

I suspect they'll give the dagger to Roxy or Jack as they've got pretty clear vendettas against James and Matthew respectively meaning that if Stephen and Rachel jump on board with them it should almost guarantee an easy banishment for them.

In terms of thinking long term and specifically about the firepit the only combination of people I could see trusting eachother to win are Roxy/Jack or Rachel/Stephen. Matthew doesn't have any close allies so he will definitely be banished, Roxy doesn't trust James at all and Faraaz doesn't seem to have any strong bonds either. There's no incentive for players to keep more than 1 other person at the end (less money to share, more risk of a Traitor) so really you need a close friendship or you're screwed. Jade is also an outsider so no hope for her.

So yeah I predict either a Roxy/Jack win or a Rachel/Stephen win, unless the latter are smart enough to break up the former alliance by murdering one of them before the final.

EDIT - Not me calling Jack 'Ross' even after all this time. The guy is so damn boring I really don't want him to win.

I do really love Jade actually, resilient and her story was so so tragic. She has gone through the most this series and I would be happy to have her win.

I like Stephen too, he is lovely. All of them are nice but I just find them ....a bit bland? Rachel I just can't get behind there is something so cold about her and aside from her being a traitor I just find her unlikeable and I'm not really sure why!

I hated Harry too
