Plus there has been a bit of a download campaign too as it was made available to download via Amazon and her webstore.

I thought the Amazon exclusive applied to streaming only meaning it would be available on iTunes but obviously not.

The good thing is, what ever position Kylie ends up in then she is going to sell lots over the next few weeks and her name will be everywhere. Her promo is done and she really is becoming a legend of UK music industry, albums, singles, tours

Simply brilliant

The fact it’s looking likely she’ll become the first ever female to have top 3 singles in 5 consecutive decades and in the running for a #1 single near 40 years into a career. It’s just incredible. There’s so much good will for her. I just love all this for her.

Kylie on Hits Radio tomorrow morning. Pre recorded interview but every little bit of promo counts.

I am pretty sure we will see a new download available tomorrow afternoon

A lot I’m sure - I’m guessing one of the main beneficiaries of the performance will be the Christmas album.

I’m not a huge Kylie fan, it’s just not my type of music but I’m sure she was a legend long ago. Prob when she got to no1 in 2000/01 with ‘Spinning Around’ and Cabt Get You Out of my Head’ as she has reinvented herself so well.

I don’t think so. 10k in total is 2 days of Amazon and 1 day of Spotify/Apple. There’s no way an extra day of Spotify/Apple would make an extra 7k.

I know it's only the First Look but it's still wild to see a Kylie single at #1 in 2025! I can't see her holding on but I'd love it if she did.

I’ve heard through the grapevine that Kylie is marginally ahead of Wham! on streaming alone.

I’ve projected her at 42k+ this week - and Mariah will be less than that. Wham! will be maybe 46-47k?

But this doesn’t take into consideration any boost Kylie gets from all of today’s publicity.

And we also know that Kylie’s team suddenly found an additional 7k at the end of last week.

So if anyone can do it, Kylie and her team can.

If it’s a Kylie/Wham! top 2 I’ll be delighted either way.
