Monday at 18:373 days AI covers are a bit tricky, I'd say most of the filler covers and remixes have been AI for a while now. I was at a restaurant for a lunch and they played suspected "acoustic" AI covers of hits like Flowers and As It Was. I mean it is possible that someone had actually bothered to record that kind of stuff in person but highly doubt that.AI covers work for streaming purposes if the original song isn't too popular and something that everyone knows. I don't think an AI cover of Birds of a Feather or Bohemian Rhapsody would do very well. Edited Monday at 18:403 days by Sour Candy

I wonder if the album will return to number 1 on 13th February when it gets released physically elsewhere?I think realistically 90 per cent of his physicals are from his store and the number of people that actually buy physicals from hmv etc is very small so I doubt it would be anywhere near number 1 that week

I wonder if there’s some that haven’t shipped?Yes, sure. Not all physical editions have been shipped.+Vinyl, cassettes and some other boxCDs what can give him another ~20k will be shipped on Feb-6 chart week.I think his mgmt has calculated how to make his chart run longer and calculated exactly how much copies he needs enough already this week.
Monday at 18:483 days I worked in retail for a month over Christmas 2024, I was right next to the CD section and I can't say I ever saw anyone take anything from there to the tills 😂 doubt most Robbie fans (40 odd year old mums) are the type to get their CDs from HMV Edited Monday at 18:483 days by gasman449

Probably a vinyl though as I don’t have anywhere to play a CD these days 😆

Monday at 20:243 days I've just checked the top 100 midweeks and at No. 83 is an AI cover of Stromae's Papaoutai. I would prefer if an ACTUAL artist covers it and does a soul version. That would be more respectful then this AI trash Edited Monday at 20:273 days by soundseekerz
Monday at 22:303 days Looking like there might be no new entries into the top 40 which is very disappointing for a time of year when there should be a lot of new stuff.
