Posted February 7Feb 7 Out on February 17. Announced on her Instagram stories.https://www.instagram.com/stories/honeymoon/3827387606020057229
February 7Feb 7 She also said the album will be out within 3 months as it needs to be pressed on vinyl… I’m not taking her word for it though lol
February 7Feb 7 Lol I saw this thread on the homepage and presumed it was another change of album title, because Lana Bring on a new song after this 10 month wait since 'Bluebird', then *.*
February 16Feb 16 Loving how eerie and haunting this sounds from the snippet, sounds like something quite fresh for her too. Can’t wait to hear it tomorrow.
February 17Feb 17 Not sure what to make of it tbh, it’s very interesting! It’s very musical theatre esque, not sure it’s one I’ll go back to very often
February 17Feb 17 The title of this song is definitely one of the most Lana-y song titles she's had to date.
February 17Feb 17 This is so odd but I love it already. It just kept on surprising me... first the retro brass, then that menacing beat, to the pivot of a whimsical Disney-esque "whoopsie Daisy" chorus, then the quickfire delivery of the title. Here for another unexpected pivot much like 'A&W' a few years ago
February 17Feb 17 Whoopsie-daisy, yoo-hooI love this. Like Jade said, it sounds like an old Disney song where the villain is doing something particularly menacing
February 17Feb 17 Ok this is about as weird as I'd expect from Lana. Really not sure what to make of it, but I definitely don't love it.
February 18Feb 18 Totally agree with the Disney villain comparisons. It’s giving Maleficent at her most evil. So naturally, I love it.~ whoopsie daisy, yoo-hoo ~ will be stuck in my head until the end of time
February 18Feb 18 Still unsure about this song - I had mixed feelings after the first listen but see the option that it may grow on me.
February 18Feb 18 She should have made 2 albums, three if you include Ride, first album and then Norman f***in Newman, and left it at that. She's had nothing else to say.
February 18Feb 18 I can't decide if I love this or hate this yet. The song title is at least iconic I guess.
February 18Feb 18 52 minutes ago, Jade said:well that was appropriately eerieNot the Blair Witch Project lost footage. Obsessed and fully back on the Lana train, againWhoopsie-daisy, yoo-hoo
February 21Feb 21 Do people actually like this or is it just because it is a new Lana song? It's awful imo~ so try hard, I literally cannot
February 21Feb 21 Yes, I've been playing this one way more than her previous single 'Bluebird' already!I can understand why it's divisive tbh
