Hello and welcome to the Semi Final stage of BJSC 182 in Dalisska! 60 nations have arrived on Dalisska's shores and are ready to compete for a coveted spot in the grand final.

After our show, 40 countries will advance to the grand final and unfortunately 18 countries will be leaving us after this stage. The 40 countries who advance will join auto qualifiers Cheiron and Hushkanukia to make a 42 strong grand final of which only one can come out on top, but we're getting ahead of ourselves!

• The deadline for sending your votes in is 23:59PM GMT on Wednesday 25th February.

• Late votes will be accepted until 2:00PM GMT on Thursday 26th February however you will receive a 15% point deduction to your song.

• Countries who fail to vote will receive a 33% point deduction to their song.

The semi final results show is scheduled for later in the evening on Thursday 26th February.

Opening the semi

Immediate hype to Nelionöir <3 and Scotland 2 are surely on to another smash there.

My early hype for the opposite semi has got to be for Pagasa! Mount Palomar has been on a roll with 4 brilliant singles in a row *.*

Expecting a DNQ

DJesus, Smerz & Little Miss are all songs I’ve considered sending myself , so I expect them to all do better than me 🤣

My plan initially was to send Haute & Freddy's Dance The Pain Away and wait until Ericka Jane lost DMGP to Sissal and then send Death Of Me as soon as I could. But, then on my flight home from Ireland last Monday, I heard Some Kinda Heaven and I didn't even hesitate which is how I knew it was the one, such an instant love. So, to see both of those songs appear is FUN and I'm sure they'll both do well, as per all of my Plan B's and C's last year, haha! Very happy with my entry though ❤️

Ooh two of these I know, Love the Mount Palomar one, I considered Pass the Parcel and this one but didn't want to recycle too soon after my one, hopefully a big hit here x Smerz was one of my favourites of last year as well so hoping that one does very well.

Don't know anything else, but hopefully GERD is better than that triggering artist name (heartburn is horrible x)

I considered Ericka Jane strongly after it lost the Danish national final last weekend but left it - it’s probably one of the best pop songs this year (studio version) though.

I reconfirmed 'Invisible Wings' by 2charm (banger), which I would describe as a horny coke-fiend love song. I decided to go with my most-played track of January instead, sometimes the song you really love is right there 🖤

I was going to say honoured to see Neliönoir recycle a Zanmatony artist... until I realised they were actually paying tribute to the nation who Zanmatony previously recycled... the great Kathaldazia. ❤️

I've known my song for I think approximately eight years and I wouldn't be surprised if I played it on plug.dj once before - I used to play good random discoveries a lot ❤️
