Looks like Conan and Troye have lost the duopoly they had over the last few rounds. I can see The Weeknd winning this round!

Actually the votes are so different making it difficult to predict anything here. Much clearer picture for female and group artists.

Yeah of the 3 categories, this round is the most wild for voting. Each of the 9 acts has had good and bad rankings

01 = The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy

02 = George Michael - Jesus to a Child

03 = Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade – Imagine

04 = Troye Sivan - Angel Baby

05 = Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw - Sometimes

06 = David Bowie - Lazarus

07 = Ruel - I Can Die Now

08 = Romy & Fred again.. - Strong

09 = Conan Gray - Caramel

  1. George Michael – Jesus To A Child

  2. Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw — Sometimes

  3. The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk – Starboy

  4. Troye Sivan – Angel Baby

  5. Ruel – I Can Die Now

  6. Conan Gray – Caramel

  7. David Bowie – Lazarus

  8. Romy & Fred again.. – Strong

  9. Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade – Imagine

Side note... I feel I'm voting two songs low because of the heavy female vocals even though I enjoyed the songs, it feels a bit like a cheat.

01. Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade – Imagine > Favourite <

02. Troye Sivan – Angel Baby

03. Romy & Fred again.. – Strong

04. Conan Gray – Caramel

05. The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk – Starboy

06. Ruel – I Can Die Now

07. Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw — Sometimes

08. David Bowie – Lazarus

09. George Michael – Jesus To A Child

At this point in time 'Imagine' is legit one of my all time favourite songs. Just pure, utter pop perfection. I'm so, SO glad it got a showing in this contest <3 Not a Troye song I go back to a lot tbh, but I don't know why... it's GORGEOUS! My favourite Fred song yet! Really enjoyed this. Not my favourite of the Conan songs, but still good. One of the better The Weeknd songs, but it's around this point I started to get really irritated by his voice and noticing him being quite whiny... Ruel's a basic bop, actually might be my fave of his???

  1. David Bowie - Lazarus

  2. The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy

  3. George Michael - Jesus to a Child

  4. Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade - Imagine

  5. Conan Gray - Caramel

  6. Romy & Fred again.. - Strong

  7. Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw - Sometimes

  8. Ruel - I Can Die Now

  9. Troye Sivan - Angel Baby

  1. The Weeknd - just an out and out great pop song

  2. Troye Sivan - I’m a sucker for a song that pulls at the heartstrings and that’s what this song did for me

  3. George Michael - such a nice soulful song. It makes me sad that people have commented that this song is boring.

  4. Conan Gray - nice pop song

  5. Ruel - like the hook, could have done with it being bigger

  6. Eric Saade - I debated for ages about sending a song where my act is a featured artist, I’m kinda glad I didn’t. This is nice but it took me out of it with Eric being only featured

  7. Nik Kershaw - grew on me a little over repeat listens

  8. Fred Again - like the vocals

  9. David Bowie - I always loved what he did with this song/album, for his fans, but just not a fan of the song sadly

  1. Conan Gray - Caramel

  2. George Michael - Jesus to a Child

  3. Troye Sivan - Angel Baby

  4. Ruel - I Can Die Now

  5. The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy

  6. Romy & Fred again.. - Strong

  7. Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw - Sometimes

  8. Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade - Imagine

  9. David Bowie - Lazarus

Conan unbeatable. George and Troye both really good. Ruel, Weeknd and Fred decent, Fred’s best yet by far! Nik, Eric and Bowies worst ones yet for me personally

  6. Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade - Imagine

  7. George Michael - Jesus to a Child

  8. Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw - Sometimes

I always forget just how good Angel Baby is until I hear it again, so beautiful wub I Can Die Now a great choice from Ruel too, banger (can we get some representation for his EPs at some point too please smoke). Caramel another strong choice for Conan too, wasn't that keen on it when Wishbone first dropped but over time it's become almost as good as the rest of the holy trinity of This Song / Vodka Cranberry / Actor!

01 Ruel - I Can Die Now

02 Troye Sivan - Angel Baby

03 Conan Gray - Caramel

04 Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade - Imagine

05 Romy & Fred again.. - Strong

06 Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw - Sometimes

07 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy

08 George Michael - Jesus to a Child

09 David Bowie - Lazarus

01 David Bowie - Lazarus - I get why this doesn't appeal to everyone but it's a wonderful song imo, once I had the tragic realisation that it was a man dying it made so much more sense.

02 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy - back to good stuff from him again this round, his tracks with Daft Punk were great

03 Romy & Fred again.. - Strong - Love Romy, her vocals can lift anything for me

04 Ruel - I Can Die Now - This was my favourite of his to date I think, I enjoyed the production in particular

05 George Michael - Jesus to a Child - I like this a lot more now than I did when it was out, I thought it was so dull at the time - still only mid George for me though.

06 Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw - Sometimes - thought I was going to like this more than I ended up doing, it didn't really do a lot for me at all

07 Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade - Imagine - not my kind of pop really, but the duet element rose it above the ones below

08 Conan Gray - Caramel - think this was my least favourite of his so far I'm afraid, it didn't have the same magic as some of his earlier entries

09 Troye Sivan - Angel Baby - Wasn't a fan I'm afraid, I'm not huge on this style of song and I didn't really like the lyrics either

1 George Michael - Jesus to a Child

2 David Bowie - Lazarus

3 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy

4 Romy & Fred again.. - Strong

5 Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw - Sometimes

6 Conan Gray - Caramel

7 Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade - Imagine

8 Troye Sivan - Angel Baby

9 Ruel - I Can Die Now

One of George's best songs - I also appreciate it much more now than when it was out. Not the best so far from Nik or Conan for me, but still my top discoveries here.

1 George Michael - Jesus to a Child

2 Troye Sivan - Angel Baby

3 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy

4 David Bowie - Lazarus

5 Conan Gray - Caramel

6 Romy & Fred again.. - Strong

7 Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw - Sometimes

8 Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade - Imagine

9 Ruel - I Can Die Now

01; David Bowie – Lazarus

02; Romy & Fred again.. - Strong

03; George Michael - Jesus to a Child

04; The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy (Hopefully the far better I Feel It Coming is on the list to send as well!)

05; Les Rythmes Digitales feat. Nik Kershaw – Sometimes

06; Tone Damli feat. Eric Saade – Imagine

07; Conan Gray - Caramel

08; Troye Sivan - Angel Baby

09; Ruel - I Can Die Now

Think this is the strongest of the three this time, there was nothing I particularly disliked, the Eric choice is egregious as anything, but it is darn catchy.

I hope Nik survives another round, it would be a shame for the brilliant 'Wouldn't It Be Good' to miss out on being sent!

Love that song. I discovered it thanks to the Cascada version.

Never heard that version before, but I can totally hear them doing it!

I'm not sure it's a like for like cover, but I quite like it.

1 David Bowie - Lazarus

2 The Weeknd - Starboy (feat. Daft Punk)

3 Romy and Fred again.. - Strong

4 George Michael - Jesus To A Child

5 Ruel - I Can Die Now

6 Les Rythmes Digitales - Sometimes (feat. Nik Kershaw)

7 Conan Gray - Caramel

8 Troye Sivan - Angel Boy

9 Tone Damli - Imagine (feat. Eric Saade)

Tough to decide between the top 2 as they are very different but both excellent imo - I'm partially giving it to Bowie just to maximise the chance that he doesn't get unceremoniously eliminated here, but that is The Weeknd's best song for me. Already know and love 'Strong' too, and I have heard the George song before but don't think I've ever had any particularly strong opinion on it, was sounding good tonight though. Ruel having my favourite discovery here, another pretty good song from him! The Les Rythmes Digitales/Nik song was pretty good too, Conan song is ok, not super feeling this Troye pick and sorry to be piling on Eric again but he is just thoroughly outclassed and really shouldn't still be here ph34r but positivity... it's better than his last two? x
