April 19Apr 19 I think I am probably in the semi-final I'd prefer to be in for this entry but not massively confident in it qualifying regardless - although I do have a nearly spotless record of qualifying with instrumental entries so fingers crossed for this one to not let me down, I hope the fact that I've still kept it in my back pocket for 6 months since first discovering it means something about it being a compelling enough listen x come through 5 minutes of repetitive vocal-less electronic beats fansThink there are about 7 or 8 songs I've already heard in this contest, pretty evenly split between the semis, a couple of decent songs among those but none that I feel especially compelled to give early hype to. Hello to Model/Actriz being recycled from me a second time though, not listened to their new EP yet so will be a new song to me - shall see if 'Mosquito' gets demoted to being only their third most successful entry a good handful of other names I'm looking forward to hearing new (to me) songs from elsewhere as well xAlso yes I was thinking to do the semi 1 listenthrough tomorrow most likely back to the usual Monday & Wednesday as the dates permit it this time x

April 21Apr 21 Author Feel free to make the thread.The actual real theme of this month is to show everyone who has a little bit of a fear of hosting an alternative to some of the more elaborately hosted editions. The core of what we expect from hosts is quite simple, the rest is optional. I hope to show this month that hosting this contest isn’t horrendously disruptive to your life and you can run a good edition without all the bells and whistles
