A'keria has suffered more in these last two episodes than Jesus did in his entire 33 years of life.

Is Silky already 33? x

Kennedy is truly mother. I love seeing a seasoned drag queen do their thing and show the young girlies how it's done x

I’ve never had so many disagreements over the results of any previous seasons until now. Is Rupaul okay?? Dawn was by far the funniest, if that’s what she was looking for! I mean I’m fine with Crystal getting crowned but come on!!

I would be more plucked at Crystal winning both challenges if I felt like someone was actually great, but the past two episodes everyone has been operating at varying levels of crap. That doesn’t apply to the lip syncs or some of the runways though

Do think Dawn was the best, after thinking she should have gone home last week x

There is something about the bracket comeback that has felt off both years now. Is it the gap in filming?

I just don’t think it has time to find its feet with it being just 3 episodes each time. I hate how rushed the climax feels, it’s so topsy turvy to have the jeopardy in the first 9 episodes but then the last 3 feels kinda limp. That’s also not helped by how obvious they’ve made it in who they want to crown though.

I think it’s the fact that only one queen winds each episode and the rest are fighting to stay out the bottom. In the brackets there would be two winners and then the others could at least get some points. They need more episodes after the merge to make it seem worth it, having 9 competitive episodes pre merge and only 2 after is not a satisfying ratio.

I like the actual brackets I think it works well and lets queens who otherwise wouldn’t shine a bit more, but the merge has been really off this year in particular imo. I don’t think the weird challenge last week helped, a talent show is fine but I feel like it should be Snatch Game or a Rusical as the other one. There was also no need to do a Rate A Queen twist here. It’s so obvious who they want to crown and that’s fine, but it’s almost like they’re so set on that that they are just phoning it in with the actual challenges etc.

Idk if the season being a bit longer would help or hinder it, but say the brackets were a “qualifier” and maybe then we have say 5 or 6 episodes of a merge like a mini season, not just 2 and a finale, that might work better. But honestly I kinda just want a normal season back.

I feel the same. The episode count is the problem, but they won’t extend that. Something has to give. Also, can someone get the Canadian team to produce the US challenges? They’ve been running circles around them a while now

Why do I feel like Crystal isn’t actually going to win? Imagine

A’Keria could have burned Silky’s house down and threw the gumbo over her and I’m still on her side, that’s mother idc

But the question is, did she go skimpy on the gumbo or not?

Crystal was the right winner but the Rate A Queen format in the merge kind of robbed her of any form of edit, because in getting both wins she was stripped of being a part of the Rate A Queen which formed the whole storyline of the merge, she felt barely there despite doing consistently well in every challenge she did.

I think Joey winning the story hour challenge and Jasmine the talent show with Crystal high in both still sees her win but provides a bit more storyline for both Joey and Crystal.

Tense final but for all the wrong reasons.

Felt like Jasmine, A'Keria, Dawn and Silky were over the whole thing, Crystal was also kind of checked out & Joey was doing her best to keep the energy in the room up.

I thought the lip syncs were generally good and most of them close enough that either person winning would make sense.

I was HARD rooting for Joey though as I thought she edged out Crystal in the final lip sync but predictably Crystal won.

Had Joey come top 2 in her bracket just once and won the story challenge I think Ru would've crowned her.

On the plus side, Joey still wins $25,000 for coming 2nd! Hoping the next round of All Stars is less produced/rigged although I doubt that. They definitely need to re tweak the brackets a bit. I do like them but the semi-final/final episodes feel a bit rushed/too quick.

Odd final vibes! Felt very disconnected and Akeria and Silky were visibly over it. Agreed that the over-production has kinda killed the season again but not in such a bad way as AS10. If only Kennedy had managed to stay in that week, she would’ve done great at the talent show and all the disco lip-syncs!

Was routing for Joey as the heart of this season but knew from the edit of the final lipsync that Crystal had got it, she’s still a deserving winner and has certainly elevated her drag since her season.

I just wish they let one of these bracket seasons breathe. I feel like the format lends itself to just seeing what happens week by week and that would make the season far more gripping rather than us seeing what is happening from a mile away.

After watching the episode I'm not mad at the final result and at the end of the day Crystal did desrve the win. I still think it would have been a more satisfying end if Joey had one the first semi final and Jasmine the second so the Crystal win would feel like more of a victory. I'd say the best US winner since Nymphia for sure.

In all honesty, I started believing that Joey has some dirt on RuPaul lol because no way she did better than A'Keria on that first lipsync, but oh well, at least we got the right winner in the end!!!

So happy for Crystal, her drag is just levels above from everyone else and she smashed the whole season, even though I don't think she would have won if Kennedy was still around lol.

As for the format, I think they should just split the queens into two groups of eight, with four episodes for each group!!!

Then the top four from each group advance to the semifinals, followed by three more challenge episodes and a fourth, final episode for the crown!!!

This would be tighter with two groups of six with four episodes each (three queens qualify), and then three episodes cutting those six to a final three.

If they're so desperate for a LaLaPaRuza then let the queens from both brackets, and the eliminated semi-final queens, battle it out for half of the finale. Give the final three girls something more interesting to showcase, pls x
