I wanted to write a proper introduction, but I first copied my ranking list from Excel and then tried a few times to move it down so I could add the intro but my cursor kept jumping into the cell of the person I gave 18 points to and I gave up. I’m a clumsy, sorry!!! But I wanted!!

At the risk of exposing literacy crises all across the shop ~ I'm pretty sure Phil meant including the names of the countries you are voting for (i.e. not just sending a list of artist/song names), not your own country name.

(but also I know there are a few people who usually don't do that and they're not going to suddenly start now because of a sentence hidden in the OP that probably very few people ever read in close detail)

It is so much easier for the host if you include the name of the country you’re voting for. So much easier. It’s really not a tough ask to show a bit of basic respect for the person taking out a huge bunch of their free time to host the contest each month.

Got to agree here, countries you are voting for should always be in there as a bare minimum as this is a core detail on every host's scoreboard, usually the first thing mentioned on each line. So makes it infinitely easier to input data and saves time and energy, meaning hosts can give you a better show. Sending only a list of artists or song titles (as I received multiple times in 180) means a host has to crosscheck 15 times the artist or song with the country to input the data.

Until such a time that we have Google sheet voting as standard, while hosts collect votes via PM I think country names in the vote are absolutely 100% a must have.

Hello, I misread this as to include your own country name, rather than the 15 country names you are voting for, as I assumed the difficulty would be in identifying the 56 users who are sending votes without their country identified. So apologies there.

However, after recent conversations about countries voting for other countries based on the user/relationships rather than on the quality of the song, I thought I’d formulate my votes purely from the Spotify playlist, rather than from the OP.

Also, I’d also sorted all my votes before Rob requested a more user friendly list of entries so it was easy for me to just do Artist/Song this month as it meant I didn’t have to copy and paste from the table on the OP. Sorry!

You can reply to your pm with the countries you’re giving your votes to. That would make it significantly easier to tally the votes
