  • A ‘Just Like Heaven’ reference in ‘drop dead’ and now a single #2 called ‘the cure’ bring it on!

I love how she referenced a song by The Cure in the first single, and now she's called the second single this I wonder if there's a theme emerging?

Wonder if there’s gonna be a collab on the record?! They did perform together and it was great so I wonder if there could be new music? Or maybe she’s just showing her love for the cure 😂

Oo exciting! I wonder if it can challenge for a #1 debut? *_*

It should do if it's as good as 'Drop Dead', would be great for 'Rein Me In' to get knocked off the top again, even if just for a week!

The vinyl has an exclusive track 'Never Do (Demo)' on the B-side, presumably that won't be on the album or streaming. Or do vinyl exclusive tracks eventually make it on to streaming platforms?

Apparently, “the cure” is 4:57, making it Olivia’s longest song to date.

This one is for all the emo millennials

It almost sounds like an interpolation. Smashing Pumpkins? Placebo? Brand New?

This is by far her best song to date honestly

Love this. The opening guitar sounds so much like Meds by Placebo 👌🏼

Yes!

Also love this. Her vocal delivery on the verses especially tickle my little emo brain

Shame it didn’t get instantly playlisted by r1 like Drop Dead did due to their playlist being frozen because of big weekend

Unpopular opinion it seems but I’m not really feeling it. It’s not bad but I much prefer drop dead

Yeah, agree with this. Definitlely a bit underwhelmed. I'm not sure I can see it going to #1?

Its kind of ironic its called the cure because it feels like its missing some sort of substance to make it great

Actually sounding a little better on second listen but still not as good as 'Drop Dead'. Anyone else getting Noah Kahan vibes from it?
