It looks like Taylor is gonna release this week (Toy Story related, we'll know in 2 hours) but I want to believe she can take number 1 if it's a proper release. Bring it on!

Countdown ends 7pm tonight! It feels like a lot of drama for just a song? I could see her potentially doing the soundtrack album? Though that being said she used to do all these dramatic countdowns for vinyl variants so who knows 😭 but this seems bigger than a single song imo

The movie premieres on 9th so if it's music, it'll probably come out on Friday.

• It’s a soundtrack single. She’s not had the greatest luck with those in terms of “chart success” and also, soundtrack singles rarely do *that* well right out of the gate.

• It’s supposedly “going back to her Country roots”.

However, all that said and done, I believe this is her first soundtrack single whilst being THE Taylor Swift. So… who knows. There’s definitely more hype behind this than any of her previous soundtrack efforts.

But also… it’s going to be a real test as to which is stronger… Taylor’s fanbase or the UK’s reciprocation of Country music…. 🥲

But lets level those expectations and not be surprised when it does less than a million opening day (lets not expect lead single from a new album/actual era levels)

Agree with all and wish her the best and to be a great song and smash it all, but true, you can never know with soundtrack track, but the promo and the buzz is huge this time and the movie suppose to be an easy 1B one should help, but we'll see.
