Yeah - I can’t figure out the Beauty & A Beat thing.

Either it has increased massively compared with this time last week; or for some reason it has been granted a reset early in the week which practically never happens; or there are physicals; or Amazon has suddenly been feeding it to everyone.

I have no idea, which is the most likely! And I haven’t checked his streaming figures on Spotify.

Easy to forget 'Rein Me In' was Olivia's first song to enter the Top 10 and not 'Nice To Each Other'!

I think Frankie Laine took 68 weeks to reach his century, he must be the previous quickest.

I'm pretty sure "Beauty And A Beat" is at #21 due to Amazon streams (doing fairly well there). It'll fall quite a lot come Friday.

It was down 440k on Spotify weekly so it cannot have had a reset. It was also #46 on official chart last week so very bizarre that it is now suddenly 25 positions higher, albeit in the mids but still.

She’s the perfect example of how a #1 is sometimes just a matter of luck and timing! Pretty shocking that the only #1 from 1989 is Is It Over Now

We had this discussion multiple times but spotify isnt the be all and end all when it comes to streaming look at poor bella kay for example some of the weeks she was stuck at 2 (plus spotify is only about 60 percent of streaming)

Fingers 🤞 Taylor can get it and it leads to debut TV coming out soon

Alex warren at 10 looking like a similar start to FPTD so might just scrape top 20

She didnt do herself any favours with her anti streaming stance which gave Megan Trainor the opportunity to sweep in and benefit at the time 🤣

Just seen that HMV have an in-store only 7” vinyl for Olivia next week - they haven’t announced what it is yet but guessing it’ll be for ‘The Cure’ - could help it challenge for the top spot?

Shake It Off, Blank Space, Is It Over Now, Cruel Summer from the context... but I had to think about it, and I agree I wish people would stop using them, it's honestly not that hard to type song names.

Had a look at iTunes to find out Taylor's team have released a piano and acoustic version of I Knew It, I Knew You. Guess they're pushing hard early. So my doubts about her getting number one that I had yesterday are slowly starting to fade.

Team Taylor would never lose it tbh - they always have something up their sleeve if needed (CDs can be brought forward or extra versions).

She’ll be an easy #1 I think - and then maybe dip before getting a film boost.

I’m praying for an Ariana / Taylor / Olivia run of number ones! Would be stunning

Its her standard release cycle they will be on streaming in a few days

I wish Taylor would take a break, I don't hate her, I enjoy some of her stuff but I find it's just relentless with her and complete overkill.
