Agree, I'm sure if it had been one of the last two nations left along with Egypt, it would have been more tempting for others to enter. All of the no-shows have form though, regardless of which country they had, so it's not surprising.

Spin offs are usually more lenient than the main contest, the mods weren’t vetoing for this for example.

I damn near crashed my car when it came on

Chilling in the library listening to these, as you do. I'm about halfway through and it has been a most interesting experience! I also for the most part don't remember who got what country (and I haven't been checking) so I'm listening blind which is cool!

One major standout so far, and a good number of songs I like and could see myself listening to at home for my own pleasure. And most importantly, I'm not sure if it's supposed to but there is one song (that I think I quite like too) that amused me more and more the more it went on and I was giggling in the library 😅 I'm not sure I've heard anything quite like it. It was Ivory Coast and I have no idea who sent it xo
