BREAKING NEWS. White young man seen running from her house after neighbours heard a scuffle. She had serious injuries.

I have no strong opinions on her as an individual but the fact it's a murder investigation is quite concerning.

There's a news conference on at 16:30 which should shed more light on the situation. From what we know so far it's implied that it was a home invasion gone wrong rather than politically motivated attack, but we'll know better after the press conference.

You would hope it’s not politically motivated; she was for all intents and purposes retired - maybe still did some media here and there but not a frontline figure for Reform despite being a well known Tory defector

True but in practice definitely not as high profile as she once was, I wager most promoted Reform views on those subjects in the last few years have come from another Reform figure.

The burglary gone wrong sounded more likely but whatever imagine being attacked like that in your own home. Absolutely horrific.

I don't think she would. Now if it was someone like Tommy Robinson this happened to, then that's likely.

The thought of a 26 year old man beating/stabbing a 78 year old woman to death in her own home is very unsettling really, no matter what her views were.
